    Isis and Osiris By Shadow43289 Prologue Omicron Minor System, Sirius Sector 26/14/804 (General Colonial Date) The mists of Omicron Minor swirled, asteroids tumbled through the fog. Space bacteria littered the green expanse, carrying the potential of new life. But there was no life here to day only death. Bright flashes of light crossed the void boiling away the nebula gases and shattering asteroids. The mists parted, revealing two ships. The ships circled each other firing massive volleys of high energy plasma and MAC rounds at each other. One ship was huge, a strange design that was unfamiliar but suggested origins much closer to home, its triple engine design, pitch black hull and odd dorsal and lateral fins screamed beauty and elegance. The second ship was smaller, it was dark grey in colour and its design was obviously Liberty in origin. Suddenly the larger of the two ships stopped dead, black smoke pouring from its left engine, its shields collapsed. The smaller ship bee lined towards it intent on making the kill. The small ship let lose a barrage from its missile pods, the missiles screamed towards their mark and exploded 7 meters away from the larger ships hull. Too late the smaller ship realised the trap that had been sprung upon it, it veered upwards over the larger ship, but that too was a mistake. The big ships guns plasma guns fired; at such a close range the bolts penetrated their targets shields and ripped open its hull, destroying the precious flow systems underneath. The smaller ship shuddered as its fusion drive spluttered and died, it began to drift, huge plumes of coolant and fuel spurting out into space. The larger ship circled its crippled opponent, destroying any guns that still fired and destroying any secondary power sources, until the ship was quite dead. A dozen special equipped Rhino freighters, launched from the large ship, each escorted by two brand new Liberty mk2 Defenders. The Rhino convoy flew towards the ship, but slowed when a brilliant white light emerged from the dead ships stern; the light grew in intensity until it blotted out everything. Then without warning the ball of light shot up the length of the ship towards the bow. Then it was gone, the light, the ship were just gone. The larger ships poised for a moment as if it were sniffing the area, then it flipped end over end, rolled over and flew off towards the edge of the gas cloud, leaving nothing but debris in its path. Debris slowly spread out, some drawn into the gravity of some of the larger asteroids. One half blasted piece rotated as it fell towards the rock, it caught the faint light from the system star. The light made it possible to read the printed letters on the hull piece, Osir…

    Hmm I must concer with my good friend Zack, learn what a "." is m8. As for you modding problem, I agree, it sounds like the missing names are due too a .dll prob to me. As for the JUmpgate, you need to check the destination line should have something like goto = Br01, Br01_to_Br02, gate_tunnel_bretonia the first section should be the system you are going. the second section after the coma should be the jumpgate/hole in that system that you wan to go to.

    Kinda had a dumb idea about that tunnel like shape. Consider this, theory dictates that a Dyson Sphere woulde take the entire resources of a solar system to build, including the systems planets themseleves. There are no planets in tthe unknown system with the freaky corridor. Is it possible that this is where the Dyson Spere was built and that tunnel is left over from when it punched its way out of the nebula (theory also dictates that Dyson Spere´s can move under there own power).

    I encountered a similar problem with the Geforce FX 5700. The game would freeze right after I got to the FL main menu, I never coul dfix it, but when I installed the software for the Ed glass (adverterised on TLR). the problem stopped, even when the glasses were deactivated.

    Hoax!!! I have to much self respect to hoax. I woun´t release it, as some twit will rip it off, no matter how encoded it is. plus if this is the attitude, I get after spending 3 months on my drive, then its clear that certain members of TLR have no right to have my jumpdrive (actually thats given me an idea). Hmm im going away now to think abotu this, u may have solved by rip off problem.

    Im not going to release my JumpDrive for various reasons, the main ones being. 1) Me and my modding team (Team Dark Modding) are very private people, we don´t want a thousand + emails a day from twits who can´t get the drive working. 2) The mod is extremly big. It would be unfair on people who haven´t got a broadband connection. 3) Im afraid that if the Drive was realised it would be like the Cloaking Device (I had to shut down my Fl servers because of those Damned things). It would be too easy for people to cheat using the JumpDrive. 4) We had to use some special file coding to make the Drive work. Im not quite ready to let my .43289 file out into the world. 5) I have some very big enemies (I really do mean that) in the modding community (not just Fl Modding) from when I was head of the Cobra Alliance gaming/modding clan. There are quite a few people who would love to ruin my work. Oh well, maybe in a few years when my faith in Human nature has been restored, I might consider releasing my Drie.

    Right, blew up the New York Star (then ran like hell). Usually blowing up a sun rests the whole system, and like I expected it did. The hole is gone. All jumpgates/holes work again. I fired up my Jumpdrive again, and sure enough the hole was recreated. So this got my thinking, the hole creation is activated by the JumpDrive activation. So this got me thinking. I went into the main parameter file for the JumpDrive and looked at the JumpDrive deactivation settings. It read ;After Jump Activate Cordinate1 =1 Restore Power setting = 1 ;Server only Admin takeover = 0 JumpTunnel deactivation = (it should read = 5.00s) SO the hole is the Jumptunnel which has been left open! I tried the JumDrive again after I had corrected the error (musta been caused during file compression) and no hole appeared. Problem solved I might consider using this as a JumpGate/Hole disruptor if only I can get rid of the two system problem.
