one of the things that have turned me off of some servers is there will bew a player with a powerful ship that will park near a docking ring and shoot anyone that comes near. And one thing that has kept me on the server I am currently on is players that help others with advice on were to get some stuff and hwo best to survive pvp.A good fourm site is also a sign of a good server. yea the more ram the better. there is a site called newegg.com that has some great prices for alot of computer parts, that is what I used to build my own computer and I was not disapointed.

even thou I am a hard-cored pc gamer I still think that the duel-analog controller for the playstation 1 and 2 is the best on the market. I have seen photos for the PS3 and it looks way to small for me to use ( it looks like a small raser boomerang) this controler for the next nintendo looks like my hand would cram up in ten minutes lol. cool to see this forum up. my own comp is home built ( I did it for the challenge, and what better way to learn about computers lol) I run it on a intel celeron half motherboard ( I know not much options for upgrade, but I didnt have much to spend at the time) 2 GHz intel celeron processor with 400 MHz bus ( yea its a bit slow but still does a good job) 1Gb of ram ( I can go up to 2Gb but alas I lack the funds <img src=smilies/icon_smile_sad.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> ) a nivida gforce fx 5500 grapichs card a sound blaster 24 bit ( with a creative 2.1 speaker system, I like the bass speaker playing freelancer lol) all this for under $1100, of cource I have a old vivitron monitor my friend let me have from his gateway 2000 comp lol, but my friend who works on and loves computers says its comparable to a $1300 comp setup so I figure I did a great job for not knowing a thing about computers when I started. what I would like to see here is some things on improveing processor prefromance without resorting to geting a new processor. as for the best game I have to say morrowind. I got the game of the year edition when it first came out and I still havent started the main quest, there is just that much fun in the game, I am the same way with freelancer. As for the worst game I have to say KOTOR, it just had too many cutscenes in it and not enough freedome in it to keep my intrest. To damn liniler for my tast. ok the tabulets are made by combineing hydrogen and nitrogen right? well what happens to the nitrogen? I seriously doubt it all burns up in the igniousion ( sorry to tired to spell right) process. and isnt nitrogen very flamable? and as for renewable fuel sources eletrical energy still seems to be the way to go, I was thinking more along the line of energy from multiple sources then from one source, as the reasearch I have seen been leading on to, and stored in a battery ( or something along that line, lord I hate working 12 hour days, I cant think that deeply lol) dont get me wrong if they can get around the safety issue of storeing hydrogen in public areas ( and from what I have heard that is the biggest block right now) then I´m all for it. well right now I am working in a high class deli ( to tired to spell gormeige right lol) untill I can get the personal funds together to get a loan to open my own store (a art and hobby supply store) and arania-pfy I would love to hear more about you projects, futureistic technology ( both real and sci-fi) has been a hobby of mine since I was a child, I even have my own sci-fi universe were I only used the most scintificly sound tech in it, and all the races in this universe were evoloved in the most reasonable way known. that was good but a bit rough, keep it up I love to see how others play the game. One thing thou the music wasnt well corographed (sp?) with the video. Dont get me wrong I love the song, merry chrismas seoroevo (sp? sorry my spelling sucks lol) but it just didnt flow with the video. oh man I am a sci-fi nut lol. If it is sci-fi I love it . I have to say for TV it has to be babalon5 and stargate SG1 for movies I have to say the original star wars trilogy and I can say for books because so many of them are great. Evil Thing as Taw said I ment the 1 am thing as a compiment. and as for blameing my OBE as a lucid dream I have to say no to that, A few years before that I had a long bout of these kind of dreams and while there was a sureal sence to them and I did have control in these dreams these had a very different feel to them. Most of the lucid dreams I had stemed from the very high level of stress I was experenceing for many years at that time (I remember takeing a stress test in health class and I scored so far into the red I was off the chart,I even asked the teacher to let me use a calculator to make sure I did the math right lol) and as such these lucid dreams were more of a very frightining nature and something I hope noone has to go throu.The OBE I experenced was not surreal at all, the mention of how the sky looked was just how my mind could interpit what I was seeing so it could handle it ( I could be wrong on that but not to sure how else to word it)and as for the beings I encountered I said that they first showed thenselves as human but I knew that was not their real shape, so when I asked them to show their real shape what I saw was more of a emotional preseption then visual (this is also very hard to explaine unless you have also experenced it, someting I dont sugest you do lightly) and I know that I have never came across anything to influance a halusination to show me something like this. If anything if you are correct I should have seen some religious figure from one of the many religions I have read up on.This did not happen. As for your comments on the spirit who attacked me (and I did say that it was most likely a spirit that was mad at me for draging it from its rest) form what litle I have read on sleep paralisis this was not the case because I had full freedom of movement and it was becuse of the circle that stoped the spirit from attacking me and with the added push of my willpower sent it back to were it belonged (when a preist does an exerisim, and there are few public documents of this occuring, they do the same useing both their willpower and their belief in their religion) As Taw said I also was skeptical of what is preceved as the &quot;supernatrual&quot; in fact I dont beleve in the word supernatrual because it is all very natrual for these things to happen, you just have to be at the wrong place at the right time lol. Evil thing I truely do hope you never belive in these things because most of the time to go from being a skeptic to someone who knows that this stuff is real ( I cant bring myself to say believer because that sends the wrong piture) you would have to experence it for yourself, and if you do it wount be because you are seeking it out it will hppen when you least expected. I have compleated up to mission 12 (?) then I found this site so it has been awhile since I have done the storyline lol. the mods I currently run are: evolutions 1.30 real space lite open sp mod version 1.1 I also have running in the folders: the ship and cargo randomizer (to tired to remember who did that one at the moment) On the average I have a caracter go up to levle 20 then some new mod would come out and I would have to restart lol. in the evolutions mod I love the soulstealer and do my best to max it out. I would like to know what you make about my post on astral travel especially since I took mesures to prevent a halusionation. Since I also have a scientific mind I have looked at the encounter from many different views, I like to see all sides of an argument, and it was a fear of haveing a halusionation ( this was a serious undertakeing, not something to take lightly)that i did take the precausions that I did, as well as the protecion in the form of the circle (which I see as a focus for my willpower not as something supernatrual). But in the end this insident was a deeply spiritual ( not religious, there is a difference) for me and set me down a path that has been of great good for me and helped me survive many of lifes troubles. Taw to answer your question, yes with pratice a person can do astral travel, my father was know to do this often, But as I said do sl with alot of causion, and do the reasearch !!! Dont think that you have to be part of wicca or some cult to do this, but ask your wife if she knows someone that she trusts that can help you on this, if this person tries to talk you into joining wicca , or some other cult just say &quot; we all must find our own path to spiritual growth, what is right for you may not be right for me and vice versa&quot; I have said this to many &quot;recuiters&quot; and have gotten mixed results , one of the best was the jhohova witnesses lol, but if this person is for real they will respect your views, if not walk away.and as I said there are books out there but many are fakes and if you are good at &quot;reading between the lines&quot; you should beable to figure out which is the real deal and which is faked.Other then that I would say &quot;goggle it&quot; but take what you find with a grain of salt lol. Taw what you stated sounds like an astral trip, or out of body travel, it is part of many cultures in the world and while some use drugs to cause it many do not use any drugs or starvation. While it is possible to go on a astral travel intentionally I would sugest aginst it, it is very easy to get &quot;lost&quot; and never find your way back to your body, to others you would seem like you went into a coma and your body would either be a vegetable or just die. I have done an astral trip intentionally and it was a deeply spiritual experence for me, when I decided to do this I did some reading on it ( there are books on this but many are just fakes, but that is to be expected) and I made sure I was well rested and I did not drink alcohol for two weeks so I would not have a delusional experence.I then made sure I wouldn´t be interrupted by anything ( phone off the hook, cat shut in the bedroom, he loved that lol)and I then casted a circle around me and called on the four corners ( I was doing what is called a solo initiation for wicca) I then started to meditate and relax my body, I then felt myself standing up without moveing (no I was not asleep, I was wide awake and very aware of what was happening) and I saw myself sitting down and I saw my apartment then my surroundings changed and I was moveing throu what I can only discribe as a cloudless sky, but it wasn´t blue but off white, and I encountered two people who looked like a man and woman nude and glowing like they were made if light, I said to them that this was not their real shape and told them to show me what they really looked like, they did, the best way I can discribe them/it is that they/it were beings of pure thought and emotions, he/she/it then lead me throu some areas that had a deep impact on me and after that he/she/it ( sorry but that is the best way to discribe what I encountered, it was god/goddess) lead me back to my body and I was back in my body. as I was getting ready to stand up (and get my cat out of the bedroom) I was attacked by something very angry, it had a human head but the mouth was full of very sharp teeth, the only reason it did not hurt me was the circle I had casted becuse when it lunged at me it was stoped by it, I then directed all my will at and forced it to leave. I know this sounds like something out of a movie and if I wasn´t there I would have a hard time believeing it too. But it did happen and the whole insident showed me that I was on the right path for me. I have also been attacked by what you called a night crusher, but this one tried to fry me with my eletric blanket ( I havent had one since) it turnd out that the spirit was a black slave that had died in the well in the basement, that basement really looked like something out of one of the admidville horror movies.BUt he really hated white people ( can you blame him?). I found out this info on the slave by checking out the libary,all houses keep a record on who lived there and when someone moves in they also show up on that list. By doing alittle detective work I found out not only about that spirit but also one that was bugging me at an apartment ( he really did not like me or my iron madien posters lol) in the same small town.
