You will need to have FL so you can test the mods you make. And if you choose to go illegal and download it through torrents and the like, most likely you will be excommuniacted from the FL communities. I bought my copy at $20.00 at Amazon.com. That is not much, and $20.00 isnt worth breaking the law for.

Also to add Junko is a japanese name but Zane isnt. and the ordinary(non cutscene) bretonians, kusaris and rheinlanders have american accents.

i used to play on raw, it is an extremely laggy server, and there are many server shutdowns due to large numbers of people. the judges are too serious, but are often unjust. and yes, it has often made my pc freeze.

er...i think most of arent expecting fl2 to come from an actual company. we(or i if noone agrees with me) are hoping that maybe a group of very experienced modders can get together through MSNM, AIM or something and co-make a super big mod to act as fl2. and maybe the people who cant mod can do as much as possible to make the leaders work easier.

What I think might be good: ...So the Kusari, Bretonia, Rheinland, Hispania and Liberty headed for the Sirius sector, right?(Althought the Hispania got destroyed on the way) So it´s not like the Coalition isnt gone. They might still be living in some other galaxy or whatever. So it could be like Trent (If we stick with him, we need to change his attitude to people! He has too much self esteem...I would never talk the way Trent does to someone I´ve never met before.) notices people with a Chinese accent/Russian accent, or maybe flying a ship that is similar to those in Starlancer (Basilisk, or something). Or maybe a Kurgen look-alike. Trent, being the "Eyes and Ears of the Order in Liberty" informs Orellian, and then I´m out of ideas. ...Please feel free to call me a retard, any other insults, to swear at me, criticize me, shoot my cheap Patriot Light Fighter down, or do anything else to me.

how about all the major mod creators get together and make a big mod. call it freelancer 2...of course ive never made a mod before, i dont think i ave the ability to make one so i dont know how long/how hard it is to make a bigger mod than evolutions and the like.

after youve rewritten that in understandable english, please add what you think we can do. not just "o its not going to happen"

The chances of a Freelancer 2 is close to none. Digital Anvil/Misrosoft needs to realise that Freelancer (and the like in the same category of games) may not be as popular as first-person shooters such as counter-strike or halo, but games like Freelancer has many fans out there. Personally I think freelancer is the best game ive ever played, it provided me with hours of good gameplay. However they will need to make it more interesting after the main storylike is finished. Also starlancer has good graphics for its age and provides even more hours of gameplay even though there is nothing after the story. We should make lists of what we want to be included in the next Freelancer if there is ever going to be one. Or at least they need to make an update. Freelancer still has many devoted fans out there...Digital Anvil needs to know that.

thanks. i used to play freelancer(there was a copy at the local library)and i did the single play but never had time to explore the systems or play multiplayer. i just ordered a copy at amazon.com and it should be coming in a few days. so ill be playing multiplayer in a few days.
