I hope you've taken the these ten years to reflect on what you did.
Welcome back.
I hope you've taken the these ten years to reflect on what you did.
Welcome back.
Reminds me of /V/lancer and their epic NPCs.
A friend of mine did a little lets play sort of thing with him doing a silly voice over as 'Trent McGee', you can see it here (Profanity warning). It's mildly amusing.
We made a song using words from it, but tonight we decided to do a rap (we were pretty drunk).
You can view the fruits of our labor here. (profanity warning. No really, if you don't like swearing you probably shouldn't click that link. Don't hate the player hate the [rap] game!)
Enjoy.
It's in the garage.
Get a photo of Lolstralia in here.
Okay, here's a pic of Rheinland's interests after losing the 80 Year War;
And here's a bus;
And somewhat related to the last image, here's me having a spot of tea with a creeper;
... I should mention that none of these are taken near my house. xD
I don't really have one of my neighbourhood, and it's a pain getting images from my phone.

@OP;
Good to see some movement on fixing the issues about the site, thanks for your work.
I've already mentioned the issue with the archives, and will the uhh... 'Community' bar ever work with Chrome?
A picture of a suburban street probably isn't so exciting, there's hundreds of thousands of them just like it. xD
If I remember correctly from my work on the ESM, the main menu pulls the omicron and omega _space files for use. At least, that's all I ever heard.
Look for Audio/Music/music_***_space.wav
It may use the other files, but I can't give that guarantee.
Check the archives for a post on how Audio should be recorded or rendered for it to work in FL, i'd grab the link for you but I'm in a tad of a hurry.
Good luck!
The fact that oft used text smileys change into broken images implies that there is in fact something wrong, no matter how you look at it.
Polar and OP were saying something about it elsewhere.
If this scares him I'm not sure how he's still around.
This. Your bitching is cute compared to Disco.[/quote]
Just wait till you witness the Freelancer community (not the FLC website, they're pretty chill) drama.
Though granted you'll probably have a bias rammed down your throat by someone here, so it won't be quite as funny as it is to me.
And AD, therein lies the problem.
Also, why are all the normal smileys like and borked but we have stupid ones like :feminist_en: ???
Tharog is/was active on the Disco forums, Polar.

Hmm... I don't really see a reason why would Continuum need so much lore writers... Anyway, enjoy your stay here!
I'll tell you when you tell me the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow.
Crossfire 1.8 is out anyway.

And remember; 'The massive size of the mod is pure result of its quality'
That's very true, getting your priorities straight is very important for such an ambitious task.
If you haven't got a well thought out and documented to-do list I definitely encourage you to write one, it'd make the job much more organised.
All I can suggest on the matter is perhaps to just work on the music when you're feeling bored out of your brain on modding. xD
Basically what I'm doing for FL10K, which probably explains why I haven't done any of the music yet xD

I think having your own music is much better than even the possibility of a C&D.
If you've got the ability like you say, it will always be best to use original stuff.
Do something inspired by ST, even maybe take parts of scores from the original music.
Copyright issues aside, it gives the mod a little something extra, even if it is commonplace to turn music off after a while.
I remember they planned a solar-free jumpzone in the next version...
Well I dunno what they planned, but I've got the latest version (updated about twenty minutes ago? :P) and it uses a bouy.
As in for the effect, either its deep ALE editing, or it starts inside the model and when you speed up enough it pops out a bit.
That's a pretty good assumption, for a basic way of doing it, ya. And hell, no need to make things advanced when they work just as good with the basics.
How to do that for the nacelles on the shuttle, no clue. You'll have to blame ST for being so cheap in effects, spuder.
It's like that every day in Salisbury (South Australia, yeah we're cool and just took all the names of towns and such in England as out suburbs), minus the choppers because SAPOL probably only has one to begin with. xD

HOLY SH--!
Things really were out of control over there.
