Update to dead thread. Been C4D modeler since 2003.
GET RIPTIDE FREE OBJ EXPORTER FOR C4D
EXPORT OBJ TO MILKSHAPE. WORKS EVERY TIME.
C4D versions don't support .dds. Do support .tga.
Use .tga in C4D change to .dds in MS3D.
That's all there is to it.

The REAL SITE didn't work. Seems it did a couple of years ago. Strange but I got into the downloads yesterday I don't know how, its shown zero since. Came up with a bunch on a drop down menu.
Guess it was a fluke. -
Anyone out there happen to have the Milkshape .MS3D and\or the CMP and\or Mat exporters for either 64bit or 32bit 3DSMax 2009?
Lost mine in a disk crash. All I found out there so far is CMP for 2010\2011 which don't work. HELP!!! -

Almost like the olden days. Anybody have the MS3D export .dll for 3DSMax 2009? Or the CMP export too? Lost them in a crash.
I'm back in the freelancer game, but now trying to get it up on WIN 10.
(It my machine). Running it on a Virtual Machine and doing okay.
