Well that works,i just do a lot of research,on secruity issues and i have msn,so i use that search never really liked anything else other than fire fox and it uses google,used to have linux on some of my machines and went back to Stupid microsoft so i can play the games with out an emulator so i use msn,and the search is decent sometimes,never really cared for wikipedia,for finding things but works for some research,plus i research the games,and how they are built...you know there history,it's interesting,and some games are ported to linux but not enough,and i don't play dungen games or world of warcraft,just never like them,but fps and rpg,thats were its at for me though i did have a lot of those other games and gave them out,i'm into science fiction to,and in my life i have seen many of the things that writers of my day wrote about ,have been coming true,like communiction,and computers,and going to the moon people going into space,and many other things

Well maybe with this sort of Thread some of the Modders will get an New idea,and start making side Quest for their mods,such as we have been talking and exploring these possibilities,it would extend the games and there explorabilities and keep it intersting

Yes they are games and were a lot of fun to play,you only needed at the time a 166mhz cpu to play it,an 95,98,or nt OS to play it,and 32megs of ram and it was top of the line game play and with plots and lots of bad guys, and it had a herion, as she was the warrior and only Warrior left of her planet to fight the bad fight it was a lot of fun,you might try to google it up,she fought with a sword and guns,and was considered a very futurestic game of it's time and was all 3d there was also State of war and war inc.and Devided Destiny,i can list many titles we have,as me and my Friend library games as we collect them to play,here's one that is fairly recent and was gone in a flash Area 51,and Blacksite Area 51 two completely diff games,most of these games are FPS,and we have every C&C Game ever made,and all the Quakes,it's been around a long time,another game Pariah, and Conflict Global Terror,and Empire Earth,all the Tomb Raiders,and Prey ,ever I/2 Life made long before Steam became what it is today.And many many others,as i said,i've been gaming a long time,did you ever hear of Duke Nukem,we have the first ver.s they were all 2D,like in the old console games,then went 3d and i guess faded out,games can't keep up with the tec that their made with,and thats what worrys me about FreeLancer it such a great and emersive game with so much to explore and do and see,but someday it will be just be a collectors item as,it won't get the upgrades to it's core that is needed for the newer tech around the corner,maybe i'll put to gether a list of the games,when i get some time and you can google them up and ck them out a few have been ported so they will play,and some you have to hack your machine to play but are a lot of fun to play,if your interested just let me know

Don't like Steam as any time you buy a game you should not have to have an enternet connection to play your games and Steam is very intrusive also,it's just Corporate greed, so even though i have all the latest ver.s of some games i don't play them,because of that fact

if you like that you should try joust or centapede,or the older zeldas,and ninja gaidens,played them for weeks,my wife thought i had lost it,and Red Neck Rampage,were you were all ways looking for bubba,the way you did a level change you hit bubba with a crow bar,and you killed huge jackalopes and you rode a harley it was alot of fun,i still have the old games in my libary of game,things like Dark Reign,Total annilation,All the decent games,Heavy Metal,and Heavy metal 2000,serious sam,we have a hugh collection all the old Diablo,and the old Dooms,star lancer,unreal,and you can still find many of them,online alot have been coverted or ported to run on xp and linux some of the old ones havent,oh and Unreal and Unreal two,realy wanted to play redneck rampage again and found it inline on their site,some people found a way to run it on xp as the compatbilitie program won't work so theres a work around just haven't had time and it is only joystick,there are hundreds of fun old games,and many still have quite a following,but free lancer is were it's at for me,and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. shadow of chernobyl,and Stalker Clear Sky,i've got good old games some that most people have forgotten about,at one time gaming was moving so fast you could go to the store and almost every week some thing newi remmeber when the only games were pinball and you put a quarter in to play,i grew up playing checkers and chess,and poker,i guess i've been around a while hehehe :shock:

yes i do to but the help people in gen. stay interested in the mods and it'd be nice to be able to upgrade a mod,that you have played before with diff.side quests or a new quest,instead of a whole new mod,sort of like novels or short stories,and it would probaly be easyer for the modder as he wouldn't have to build a whole new mod just a mini that could be added useing fllm

ok let us know how it went sounds interesting,hadn't thought about editing out the missles,me i don't mind the dog fights,and i do a lot of trading usally their stuff hehehe :mrgreen:

yea i know but in the movie escape from new york,thats what people would say to him,and in the second movie to and yes it is plisken,been a lot of years scince i have seen those movies,they don't make em like that anymore,and i had seen your avitar,but really couldn't make it out till to day had to put the heavy duty specks on

soothing teenage egos is just about the last thing I want to do for relaxation, having teenagers of my own. Some of you moaners are lucky that BP and Mental even give you the opportunity to have a go, because I wouldn't. Left to me, adolescent whinings would be in the dustbin of deletion and you would not get the oxygen of publicity but BP and Mental are decent fair-minded guys who listen - on most community sites you would not be able to say the things that you say.

Were TLR ever to fall under the blessings of Tawakalni rule, anyone with names that suggest a colour link with avian life forms would be immediately banned, as would anyone of a hiruste facial nature who lives in a "shack" in the forest. However people who sell and recommend comfy mattresses that give me a good night's sleep after years of pain and discomfort are perfectly welcome (thanks Rich, best buy I ever made!)

yep did that,i think it's the startup .exe files as that is what it keeps showing and i know it's a false positive.even ms downloads stopped my dvd burners from starting auto and can't seem to by pass it,guess there still afraid of conflicker as i had nearly two dozen updates to my x64 proff. machine. Do you know a away around it? without digging all thru the registry,this machine has run like a champ for two years and has a very large data base in it,there's over 2700,registry files alone,even have a registry defragger for the data base,and a total file sys of 758 000 files ,though i have a lot of it backed up to dvds,i just wouldn't want to have to do a reload :shock:
