    Pretty cool, Now I am wondering are those the hidden items in the goods file with out a Id_name or info? Becuase I´ve seen weird items with no name or info. I´ve been planning on working on that and adding them, but don´t really have the freetime digging and doing all of it. But do those weird items have their own icon pic or do you have to make them your self? BTW I know how to do all of it, just really don´t have the time right now to do major work on my mod. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

    We are the noobs? lmao O wow, Any idoit can take a code and throw it into a ini. file. It takes a long time to plan out the ideas and then see if it works. Those people have no idea how to make a mod. Chances are the mod is super buggy. Yea I´ve heard of the clan and heard they suck. (Time to look them up and hunt them.)

    Opps forgot your other part. It depends on what your going to do. To add ships into ini. files, not scripts, it sometimes takes me 2 hours to make everything. (Add info cards, add the ship data, add it to the goods, test it, change it and fix it up and then prepare it into the base or planet you want it to be.) I watch T.V while I mod in my free time so it takes me about that much time. Now weapons are the easyest things to add in the world. lmao I remember when I frist looked at the weapons file, I freaked out becuase it all looked like it was going to take days to make. But it is just plain fun to mod, I use to play mods and see all the ideas and thought to myself, &quot;Dang I wish I could so that.&quot;. I found lancersreactor and my wish came true.     Frist off. The reason why people mod is to make the game more interesting in their own view. You get to see many other ideas from people around the world. It also boost the amount of people who play the game and makes the game last longer then what it would without mods. Like myself, a lot of people like to work alone becuase they enjoy working on everything in the game of freelancer. Ships, Maps, Addons, Weapons etc. Now not to sound rude. But I´ve never played TNG, I´ve heard good things from it. If your wanting to make the mod better, then go out and test it and give your feedback to the maker of the mod. Tell him if there is any bugs. That always helps modders when someone gives their feedback. If you can mod, ask the guy if he needs any help with anything. Alot of modders are looking for ideas and help. Me? Well I am looking for ideas for systems from people, becuase I tend to make systems dull from time to time becuase of the lack of ideas, but I sometimes come out with a great maps to make. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> So ask around and see if you can help. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

    I know I was playing around with it and make the shotgun like 1200 damage pershot thinking it wouyld jsut be 1200 and man did it take out ships. I got the sound working and it sounds very very very COOL. (Like a real shotgun underwater. Just that bass sound but sounds more like a gun shot. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> ) I stilll need to work with the effect, but other then that it´s a very good idea for modders out there to use. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

    nvm, my answer to my question is yes. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> It´s very weird and cool at the same time, only problem is the ammo uses up five shots, so I am planning on extending the ammo limit to 120 or 150 in order to get more shots in. The only thing I am having troble with is the sound, but other then that, it´s very interesting.     I got a quick question about this guns with the extra HPfire on them, do they fire more then one shot in that gun? What I mean is, if it has 5 HPfire spots on it and it´s damage is like 100, does that mean it does 500 and 250 shield? Becuase if so, then I am making those in my mod, I would love to have a short range shotgun on the ships. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

It´s pretty easy to make new sounds and Argh is right there is mllions of differnt sounds you can make, hard part is to think of one and the hardest part is to get it to what you want it to sound like. My fav. sound would be when nomad torps hit something near you and you hear that SSSSRRRREEEEECCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHH sound lmao.     Missions was a question I asked a while ago here is the link, it helps a lot if it´s your frist time doping missions.     Well I never liked scripts and didn´t like them in my mod, I was going to remove the scripts and add all the data into the files. Becuase FLE can´t read scripts and just shows up as blank. Plus I never really understood scripts. I might just use scripts that change things in the game, not add ships, becuase ship scripts have given me a whole lot of pains to mod. But yea, it left a engine behind and it was causing crashes. I might of added it, but I think I might never find out. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

I just forgot about the whole idea from the past when making new weapons and wanted to try to make custom sounds, but got piled in a few other things.
