Ok. unistalled 1.5flmm // uninstalled freelancer // deleted previous downloads from doc. directory - clean slate::

installed Freelancer

downloaded and installed flmm1.31

downloaded and installed rebalance3.55final.zip flmod

This is what I got :: first try ::

5 files restored and 0 directories deleted
Error: problem activatin "FL Rebalance Mod v3.55 Full"
Error: SHCopyFile failed("C\Program Files (x86)\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\firebalance355full.zip\playtype.bat'to 'C:\Program
Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\playtype.bat')

Access to C:\Program Files(x86)\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\flrebalance355full\data\SHIPS\CobraMkIII\batteredcobra.bat was denied.

deleted and re-installed 3.55 mod ::

Error: unable to extract a file from mod archive 'flrebalance355full'
File possibly corrupt.

Now although flmm v1.3 see and activates the mod it does not allow for option screen ie.. normal/hard :: docking normal or instant ::
appearance navy , bountyhunter ect. ect..

go thru with initial start of game to crash to desktop after nav. quest map

I'm am still missing something to cause this : oh ya also made sure of 3d sound being off as I had read that somewhere in my travels to correct and play my game.

fileplanet download of 3.55full final zip

not having a unzip program used winrar trial version download = unzip to new folder - started up flmm did not see mod 3.55 listed , moved folder into freelance directory - restarted flmm same issue as b4 not listed , moved folder to flmm mod folder directory - see 3.55 listed in mod's availabe - activate mod error restored 4 backups :: made sure no save files or backups 4 attempts same issue error restore backups :: only other change in game was changing to god mode reversed still no activation. Only virus detector is Defender :: made sure sp only mode as instructed in readme files :: Only reason doing this is old computer finally died & 200hours now gone playing this game which i enjoy playing over the years. HELP what am I missing here please advise if you know thanks for your input.
