I might have just gotten confused. I was pretty sure that there was a bartender with some relation to the game in the Rheinland systems, so Bargib could have been the one I was thinking of.
-
I think I heard that the name of the bartender on one of the planets (Hamburg?) is Jorg Neumann, the Lead Designer of the game. Can anyone confirm this?

Nice, I like it .

Here´s a link... Destructable Universe Mod Hope that´s what you wanted.

Those are part of the SP campaign. After you finish the mission when you go to them, you can never get back (unless you mod).

I think that Argh has included some new AI techniques, strategies, etc. in his Toolkit mod. I´m not sure because I haven´t actually played it, but that´s what the description says. This mod also includes a "balancing" of several other aspects of the game. It should be available in the Downloads section. Alternatively, if you ask in the General Editing forum, someone might be able to show you how to change the AI to make the game more difficult on your own. I´m not that knowledgable about that coding though, so I can´t do anything other than point you to those who can help.

Yeah, you can´t buy it. You can salvage the ammo from several wrecks, but you can´t get the launcher itself (the ammo does sell for a lot of money though). I think that Buckdanny´s Unofficial Patch 1.4 allows the launcher to be salvaged, but I´m not positive. The patch is available in the downloads section.

Oh no...everyone, brace yourselves for massive amounts of spam. Sorry if I´m being prejudgemental, jonben (benjon, jonben2, whoever)...but frankly, I naturally expect spam when I see your name. Besides, you´ve already spammed another thread with 100 lines of drivel, so I don´t think I´m wrong...

Oh...well...good point.

Tizona Del Cids are extremely powerful Pulse weapons. They do a lot of shield damage, but almost no hull damage. They are Corsair weapons, I think.

I would definitely recommend it, as it´s very fun and can last quite a while. Besides, the demo is extremely limiting compared to the full version. They´re totally different. It´s also pretty easy to mod.

Evil Genius. I don´t know anyone else who knows about it.

Which ones? I was talking about normal bases (those that aren´t storyline only).

Fantastic! Can´t wait for the next chapter .

Um...no. Firstly, Buffalo Base in the Badlands is a Rogue base; there just happen to be Outcasts there since the Outcasts and Rogues are allied. Secondly, no base, not even Buffalo, sells the Ripper Mine Launcher. What you´re thinking of, Masterkamon, is the actual mines. These (and all types of ammunition) are sold at every base in the game. However, the Ripper Mine Launcher itself can only be salvaged. As for the ammo being sold at a nifty price...well, your character must be rich . As far as I remember, they are quite expensive (being the most powerful mine). Katoc: No problem, glad I was able to help. Edited by - njhockeyboy on 6/3/2005 7:12:41 PM
