Ah Axis and Allies...never really interested in games like this, but I got hooked on the board game version back in high school during my advanced history class. Now I own it and come the rare weekend or so that I´m free to play I sometimes get a group of buds to bunker down and play. I love playing Britain or Japan If I recall the last time I played was almost a year ago...

To me the story seems pretty reputable. EDIT - Romoved my link, didn´t realize Balthazar already posted the link Edited by - Sylverfysh on 12/14/2004 4:16:45 PM

I think classical guitar sounds pretty cool. It has that sorta mystic sound to it. And I bet the nylon strings are way easier on the fingers

I feel the same way. The fault lies with the girl who failed to tell your friend´s friend that she was already involved. So the problem isn´t with the b/f and your friend´s friend. However, I can see that this is probably one of those situations where violece will be unavoidable. If you want my honest opinion, I would say stay out of it completely. If you don´t like the person your friend is going to try to defend are you willing to get into trouble, legal or personal, for someone you don´t like? I am completely for being there for your friends and helping them when they need it, but I don´t think this is a matter you´d want to get involved in.

I agree with the above post. My friend used to have a Dodge, and there was only one dodge dealer around my area. Everytime something went wrong he had to take it there. Of course since they were the only Dodge dealer in the area, they charged an arm and a leg for services. In the end he got rid of it.

Was on DSL before college, ran at about 50.0 kb/sec or so, went to college. In the dorms I had a a T3 line with a whopping 1.5 Mb/sec, now in my apartment I have cable which gets around 100.0 kb/ sec. Obviously I miss my dorm room

I´m gonna have to agree with everyone here. I grew up a PC gamer, but now find myself playing console games a lot more. Like everyone said before, PC games are generally better looking and allows bugs/glitches to be patched. However, console games need no requirements besides the console itself. The main thing that classifies me as a console gamer is sports games. I love NCAA College football and basketball. Sports games on computers are never as good as console sports games - to my knowledge at least. The only sports game I have ever played on a computer was golf

Oops, forgot I posted this messege Thanks anyways, I´ll just get used to it

I wasn´t so much asking about preferences as much as I was asking about why hair is seen as good on the head, and bad on the body. Yes hair can trap odor, but you can wash *Runs from men wearing white suits*

I´ve seen the movie. It´s definitely not A-List, but it´s a fun popcorn movie IMO. I´ll agree that the kilrathi look like crap. The WCIII costumes looked way better, and if I can recall, that game came out before the movie. Don´t worry though, as soon as I get a 100 million dollars or so I´ll produce a new one! Perhaps I could even recruit some of the TLR members for the cast!

If somehow women happened to become the only gender on Earth by natural means, I would assume that by then we would just become an asexual race instead of dying out. That´d be weird wouldn´t it? You´re enjoying your lunch in the park when your best bud suddenly splits in two. "So I was telling my teac - Whoa!...hey Sally..eh..and Sally...."

Actually kimk you´re on the right track,in a way we men should be girls . Lemme explain *Puts on professor hat* If you guys know your biology we know that females have XX chromosomes and males have the XY chromosomes. Simple stuff. Then, if you get more technical you look at how after conception males and females develope. In females X chromosomes creates the Mullerian system, which ends up to later on to become female internal sex organs (Gonads) In males, the Y chromosome carries the SRY gene. This gene activates the anti-Mullerian hormone. This inhibits the development of the Mullerian system, and gives way to the male system called the Wolffian system. Since males need to have the SRY gene and anti-Mullerian hormone to develop, whereas females, put simply, do not need any outside hormones or genes, females are known as the "Default race." This is also why birth defects such as babies without the second chromosome (another X or a Y) end up looking female only without internal sex organs. A bit longwinded I know, but I´m a biology/psych major so all of this stuff is overflowing in my brain Edited by - Sylverfysh on 11/19/2004 9:18:34 AM @Codename(above) - Yeah, i was pretty much giving a biology lesson, but also to point out how much more work is involved in creating a male. Nature by default wants to create females. Which I coincidentally wouldn´t mind having more of in the world. Go Nature! Woot! Edited by - Sylverfysh on 11/19/2004 9:32:57 AM

*Sheepish grin* Oh yeah, forgot about the whole Roberts deal... I guess I missed out on WC IV, although I could venture to say you may have missed out on 2. WC2 has a really good story and twists pertaining murders and sabotages. Plus, that´s when Blair finally gets redeemed after the loss of the Tiger´s Claw.

I think lucid dreaming can be possible for some. I´ve had dreams where I just had this feeling that "Wait a minute, this isn´t right." Almost like my uncocious is running wild while my concious, while not in control, is watching and commenting on what is going on. I´ll admit, I´ve never been able to control one of my dreams, but I have had a many dreams where I knew it was a dream, yet all I could do is watch myself. For instance, I dreamt that I lived in Beverly Hills and drove a red Ferrari. Last time I checked, I drive a four door sedan and go to college in Iowa. While having that dream I knew that this wasn´t accurate. Everytime I´ve had a dream and knew I was dreaming I didn´t do anything about it. As if I would rather watch to see what happens opposed to interfering.

Wiz - Sort of, some people think that Plato´s Atlantis was more of an ideal that humanity should, but won´t, achieve. That´s pretty much my line of thinking too. Off-topic: Flight Lieutenant? A promotion? Eh, I have to stop posting so much or soon I´ll become one of those REMF (military Jargon ) Wouldn´t want that, I demand to be on the frontlines with my fellow soldiers!
