"life sucks, then you die" Never really liked that quote. And its not going to help you out any. But one needs to understand that they are not the only people going through tough times. Millions... Billions of people are going through hard times every day. I´m thankful that I get the chance to go through life being in a country like the US, even if it is tough. If you think your life is tough, I´d gladly trade with you. No, I take that back. Because even though I´ve lost almost all of my family members within the past 5 years, I´m setting myself up to be a very successful person. I firmly believe that its the hard parts of life that build character. And if you actually met me, you wouldn´t think that I´ve actually gone through my version of HELL already, and I´m just 18. I lived through the days of band. I didn´t like it much, cause of my conductor, and loathed marching band. But it was something I stuck through the first year of High School. Then I moved to other things that interested me more. If you don´t like it, get out of it if you can. Its you life, but make sure you have no regrets. Regrets will kill you in the end. As for your family, I don´t know how old you are, but I hope that you listen to them. (They may actually know more about LIFE than you do). AND CHARISH THEM WILE YOU HAVE THEM. No one knows how long you will have them with you. You don´t have all the time in the world to make amends, why not start today? What I´ve written here may not be for you. These are my thoughts on how I´m getting through hell on earth, one day at a time. I know that my life is no worse then those in the Southern U.S., I don´t know what it is like to loose EVERYTHING over night, but i´ve come close.

" According to the original dialogue, HK-47 killed G0-T0 and saved the remote or ended up in running shootout with HK-50s depending on your influence with him (I think). If you had influence with him, the other HKs could not shoot him because of their self preservation programming" What origional dialogue? I saw nothing about that...

talk about a spoiler! It took me 36 hours to beat the first game, 31 hours to beat the second. I was really displeased with the amount of problems with the second game. Not to mention, battles were really stupid a lot of the time. Also, the ending... SPOILERs When Kreia died, why didn´t you die? Wasn´t it supposedly fatal connection? And what happened to the planet? Did the thingy activate? I use thingy cause I can´t exactly remember what it was called. But the thing is, go-to had possession of the remote, how did the thing activate then? And when it went to the cut sceen of the Ebon Hawk falling, did someone take control and fly it away? Ehh, the story could have been filled in in a lot of parts. I´ve never had a game dominate what I did. Never had a game that had such a hold over me than these two. I´m glad they are over, my grades cant handle much more devistations. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

Thats how you do it.... ANyway, that wasn´t what I am talking about... The Start Button (that taskbar) is hidden by a full screen, and if the screen is not maxed, it can be moved completly off of the viewing area.... It should stop at the edges... Update: Figured out the Taskbar part (right click on taskbar, properties, check keep the taskbar on top of other windows). Still don´t know about the Windows off of the screen... Most people do know that you can have multiple Os´s. Thats why I called the Thread &quot;SIMULTANIOUS Os´s&quot;. It will be cool to be able to go from Windows to Linux with a stroke of a key. CPU power is not the issue here though, its the memory. Os´s are loaded into the memory during start up, the proc would have to know in what sectors of the RAM each OS and subsidiary programs are running at. I wonder if you can reboot 1 OS wile the other is still running?

    I don´t think that it said it will be a patch. More like Windows XP was an Upgrade to 2000 <img src=´http://www.danasoft.com/sig/thisisfakedotcom.j ´> --------------------------------------- <A href=´http://www.spreadfirefox.com/?q=affiliates&amp;id=0&amp;t=71´ Target=_Blank><img src=´http://www.spreadfirefox.com/c…tes/Buttons/88x31/safer.g ´></a> Edited sig <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Edited by - Finalday on 1/24/2005 8:55:36 AM

Ummm.. Hmm, I´ll have to hold my temper a bit... I have had 4 Ati cards that have had no problem, i have, however, had 2 nvidia cards that have given me trouble... Any computer componet that comes off of the market has about a 15-30% failure rate. (So I´ve heard...). The ATI ones that you talk about could have been faulty, or from a bad retailer. As for the marketing gimmik, yes that is often true. For ATI, the SE line stands for Sucky Edition. No doubt about that, however they are good for people that really don´t need the full speeds as the normal core. The XT however, IS BETTER for gamers. Often adding 20~50MHz more on their cards. I have the 9600XT, it performs a lot better than the flat 9600. Looking at newegg, for AGP, the 6600 only comes in the GT format. PCI-E it comes in both, however, the GT version is about twice as quick.... Hmm, phony sails gimmik??? I don´t think so! My next card will be a single 6800 Ultra (SLI capable, course), along with a new 64bit system. Unless I see ATI pull SLI out soon...

Radeon 9600XT or Nvidia 6600GT Both good cards for gamers nowadays. If you have the money, wait for the x850 from ati to come out <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

Fix: Restart Computer After post, boot to dos Format C: Works everytime <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> annnyway... Computers get bogged down if you have too much info going through your main drive (if you have two), with too little space on the c:. What is the size of your hdd? And now much is used?

*SNEEZE!* *Caugh* *Caugh* I´m alergic to reading BS... Sorry E, what were you saying? I wish computers were fool proof, and like windows update could upgrade the hardware...

It´s just amazing at the amount of people that don´t think anything wrong will ever happen to their computers... Thanks for the info!

Most MB´s have sensors that tell if a CPU reaches critical temp, then shut themselves down. Haven´t had this happen to me though...
