    The Morena Smuggler is too much for FL to handle all at once. I have a working version that is cmp spliced (It is hardpointed but it does not have weapon HPs due to the fact it's true nature is a blockade runner). If you want, I can upload it. You will only see it intact ingame since HardCMP does not know what to do with it.


    The final release of Nightstalker's Universe is now live. It has taken at least a year to get this one out, with the extensive beta testing from me and my staff + 2 open beta tests with the Olympus Community. A lot of new content has been added with the addition of systems based off AFF (Angels Fall First) and Mass Effect (Complete with ships). A lot of ships have gotten facelifts + more than a few rehardpointed. This version also see's the implementation of high poly X3 and SG Capital ships with the addition of Sol Command's Morena Smuggler + a few others. A lot of error checking has gone into this version and more than a little trial and error, but this time I am satisfied with the results. Right now it is only available for download in our forums but soon it should be up at other gaming sites. You can get the mod at: Olympus Complex Forums

    Thanks for the welcome OP. Looks like I will be calling this home for awhile. I am here to show my support for the new TLR. Bond, it's hard to keep on track sometimes. With all the BS going on in the FL Community it is hard to stay around sometimes.

    Another version of NSU is in the works. It should be out before the new year, maybe sooner if I can get the time to work on it more. I will be introducing 6 new factions, several types of new weapons and defense systems, plus several new ships to go along with the new factions (Several ships that are not used by players or for NPCs will be removed to make room and to save a little space). At a later date, I will have this section removed so I can post the new info for the mod without confusing people. Here are some screenshots from the beta and dev screens.

    I have to vote other because this post is nothing but biased. 4 out of 7 from Swat (I have nothing against him), looks like hidden PR to me. Besides you are missing all of the good mods such as WTS, North Quadrant, Flak 88, Nightstalker's Universe Mod, Monkey Universe, or Tekagis Treasure (the list goes on). So, until all options are available to players everyone should vote other. Also, only two of those four mods are out so how can you say its your favorite if its not even out yet??

    Well, the correct way to phrase that would have been:


    Remember to ask permission to use content from another mod before making a mod that will be released to the public. Some of the ships and equipment mods do not require you to make contact with the maker unless it says "contact" before you use this in your mod (This would be private or public). In mod making it is a good idea to document your sources as you put them in because face it, we are all human. For instance, I create a txt document that is titled credits.txt

    You know, darkwraith007, its people like you that the so called FL "community" will fail. We are supposed to encourage new mod makers not rake them over the coals at least he is trying to make FL a better place, so what have you done for the community??. Just about everything that can be done to FL (without the source code) has been done, so tell me, did the mod makers ask permission from Microsoft to make their mods?? Also, because a mod got mod of the year does not make it the "best" mod, it just means they have the biggest community and of coarse they vote for their own mod. There is not a mod here that would be considered the "best" mod, it is in what the player wants out of his/her FL experience. A lot of people are so narrow-minded they would never consider trying another mod or even looking in fact. Being a fanboy of a mod does not make you right and it makes you look like a moron.

    This is the change log for the new version. Because of the loss of the test server (Olympus 2) I have not been able to test the new FLAC features I enabled (Capship Docking, Clan Templates, Dock Groups ETC)
