do a mission and buy a rhino, take luxury consumer good´s to Tokyo but go through Kepler it´s easier=/ than go over to Osaka storage (Honshu)and get H-fuel, take that back to Manhattan..do this get a shield/imp counter measures and drone in tokyo.. after you get about $200,000 it shouldn´t take long get to Berlin, buy the humpback and take diamonds to Tokyo, buy Niobium in Tokyo and take it back to the Ring base, right outside of Berlin can´t miss it=/ get the freighter shield and adv countermeasures dropper at Helgoland on you way past there. you will have about $2000,000 in 4-7 unless you die crazy times, enough cash to get the rig/bribes and acceceries you need...

try Elite, it´s dependable/stable

let me get this straight, you are actually trying to fight with a frieghter? nono...don´t even go there, hell I don´t even waste credits on turrets even on the big bad humpback. just grab the shield in helgoland the adv countermeasure dropper and your good to go...if you get in a jam at a jumpgate just head for the hole at the last second press DOCK and cyaaa your cool with shield/bots/bats. as for trade-lane disruptions it took me a sec to figure this one out=/ the AI is sooo stupid which ever way you get kicked out of lane press your cruise and head off that way, the enemy ships arent near you yet..and gradually turn back on course, this is where your countermeasures ADVANCED come into play.. I have it down pat pretty much

what Kotau says makes perfect sense, m$ is notorious for rushing things... fl is an awsome game but I think more should have been added to it, especially in single player. my 2cents

Eagle looks cooler IMHO, the Sabre would look cooler if it didn´t have the frame thingy going on the underside.. reminds me of a bad spoiler kit

Eric.. first of all put some cloths on=/ freelancer is not that hard to play so 4mill from start will get waaay to boring quickly. and after giving Elite a try I think I´ll hang around there for a while..it´s really stable once you build a char you can pretty much rely on Elite to be there. alot of people will help you on the way up so you don´t need to cheat=/ and their are enough people to look out for once you leave liberty great mix. fun server!

@Tassin are you sure the champion is a cheat? I´m hearing it is out there for sale...not sure but that´s the rumor.

Dillinger roflmao sounds like fun..but how the heck do you get back on manhattan? after I become friends with outcast I´m usually to hot to get back on the goody planets

when you start a char there is no way your getting 300k mission´s... by the time you start getting pirate missions you probably have a tricked out ship anyway.. it´s a quicker level to trade from the start, then get the eagle,sabre etc.. and then go bad. it takes me about 4-6 hrs to get a million from the start, to some that might even be to slow, and yes I think trading is more fun than the 1k-3k missions in manhattan with those little pea shooters

I found the cloaking device a long time ago, but you still need dilitheum crystals to make it work not shield batteries...<img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

If you are in the older crowd have a life, kid´s, wife, dog etc.. forget about Elite.. you probably will never get on=/ I can´t sit there endlessly refreshing..if I had more time I would love to play there as it seems like there are some really cool experienced gamer´s on that server..

I like to run luxury consumer goods from ny to tokyo, and then hfuel from osaka storage back to westpoint... it´s really easy if you go through kepler and the pay is good at the start of game

humpback=300k diamond runs from berlin to tokyo, and over 100k back to berlin (the ring) right outside berlin dock gate with Nirobian?? whatever it is.. the catch is sigma-13 run like hell through there, even if you die you make so much cash it´s all good.

ya It was on the c4´s playhouse server, kinda funny actually but I wish they would patch the server up...

To stinger, after 5 years why would some miracle patch be in the works now all of a sudden.. it´s so ridiculously easy to cheat in fl mp its a damn shame=/ and still some people are so worried about people bringing their uber chars from server to server pking them they don´t understand the need for things to be run serverside by da...

it´s like going into the rouge camp in diablo-2 and not being able to see or talk to akira or the blacksmith girl, just some wierd lag I guess
