    Unless i´m going blind, that should all work as i´ve ripped the files straight out of our mod and i know they work there. I take it you know this forum doesn´t show the closed bracket so don´t forget to add those, plus the lines that Black Eagle suggested. @ Black Eagle You did the ship pack with all those flame coloured ships if i remember right. The standard eagle has a dicky hardpoint for one of the docking lights that you created which i´ve fixed and included in our mod.     The problem with adding encounters to Zone 21 is you don´t want the npc ships flying around in the minefield, they´ll just explode. Trick is to create a zone in the minefield around the alaska jumpgate. I have the gate open in our mod so i did this, [Zone nickname = Zone_Alaska_jumpgate pos = 79950, 0, 12656 rotate = 0, 0, 0 shape = SPHERE size = 8888 comment = Around Alaska jumpgate sort = 51 toughness = 19 density = 3 repop_time = 15 max_battle_size = 4 pop_type = jumpgate relief_time = 15 population_additive = false faction_weight = fc_n_grp, 1 encounter = area_nomads, 19, 0.200000 faction = fc_n_grp, 0.800000 This works a treat as the nomads only spawn in the area without mines inside Zone 21, hope this helps <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

    The file you´re looking for is in DATA/MISSIONS/faction_props.ini Look for the line that says this space_costume = sh_male5_head, ku_male_guard_body, comm_br_darcy If memory serves then it´s the comm voice at the end that generates the speech, and you can mess around with these and swap them about so new factions sound almost right <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

    The reference to the 5000 is simply a positional one. 5000 just means the planet is 5k up in space, 0 means on normal level and -5000 would mean 5k down. I moved some of the planets around for variety as i got bored with some of them all on the same level so not a bug <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

    Well the level 40 issue is in MP, and it´s only since i´ve patched the .exe this has been happening, i gave myself 1.5 billion to try out the money hack and now it shows level 40 no matter how much cash i have.

    This debate about what´s illegal or not has been done to death in various posts, partly by me, i´ve worked in the music business for years so i have an insiders point of view as to what is illegal or not. There are some mods on TLR that definately have copyrighted music used without permission, no arguments there, i can name names but i shall refrain (no pun intended lol) from doing so. If as a modder you wish to use already copyrighted material then you must seek permission from the original authors or from the publishers. If they were to get wind of the fact you are using their tunes then a lawsuit is guaranteed unless you cross someones palm with silver. The only saving grace here for the modding community is whose going to find out? Chances of Jeff Beck or Guns ´n´ Roses playing FL are slim at best. So you take your chances like everyone else on this matter really, the fact these mods are free does help, but i guarantee the music within, if from a known artist is not so be careful when sticking your favourite tunes in a mod. Do this at home and don´t post it here otherwise it could mean trouble for everyone!

    Having finally got my grubby little paws on a copy, i agree with u Argh, lots of good things but lol. One of the issues seems to be a mixture of already ´sorted´ .exe files mixed in with patches, one issue being with the money hack that levels seemed to be stuck at level 40 irrespective of how much dosh u have. Even the F1 exe suffers from the same problem. Maybe a menu system might be in order or individual patches so the user can choose what they want. Just my 2 cents.

    @ Alcander Thx Alcander for posting this, i´m just moaning at the obvious lack of community spirit going on here as you´re obviously willing to share this but everyone else is not. Plenty of take going on but not much giving going on from anyone else..

    Just a thought about Tie Universe mod, it is single player AND multiplayer. Just need to find a server running it.

    Right, here´s something else i just found. I added a nebula and an asteroid to a new system, added an exclusion zone round a base ( as discussed <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>), but me being me, i thought i´d check it anyway. This is where i found that FLE had put the new nebula i´d added into the asteroid folder as opposed to the nebula folder. The new asteroid field ended up where it should but not the nebula.
