I've heard of that. Thanks.

Meow.

Yeah, she'll be back on Wednesday. The mother-in-law is having some surgery done. Wifey says she's doing fine and recovery is looking good. Back to Freelancing!
-
It's gotta be your PC. Can you send a screenshot?
-
Now if I can get my daughter to sleep. My wife's visiting her mother.
-
Nice!
Finalday, what are you using to run Freelancer on your Mac. Parallels, VM Fusionware, Boot Camp?
-
Things happen, ya know.
-
I got it! I'll make my desktop Seven of Nine, so we all can stay on topic!
-
Sorry about that. It was damn near midnight, the kid wouldn't go to sleep and I was out of it. Oh, the terrible twos! :?

I lived in Ventura County, just north of Los Angeles. I used to love driving through Hollywood, Malibu, Long Beach and the other spots. If you go you definately need a car. I saw Jeri Ryan of "Voyager" fame chilling in a cafe on Sunset Blvd. Me and my crew waved and she waved back. She's as beautiful, sexy, down to earth and cool as they come.

I once used Chips Open Single Player to gain access to Alaska (not much out there unless you use a mod with it). Chips open sp allows you to pick your starting credits, location and so forth; it even opens up Tohoku. :ugeek:

I agree. I got beaten back at SD and had to run into the ice field. :o
-
Use FLMM Ver. 1.31, it's the universal mod manager.
-
I'd rather use Milwaukee or Porter-Cable power tools anyway. Very durable and they get the job done.

I just laid on my afterburners to get me through the area (Omega 5) at first, after that I had made enough creds and friends to abandon the run.
-
I like the Dromedary myself. I would do the alien organism run from Kurile in Sigma 17 to Cambridge Research Station. Sure, some of the organisms perished in transit, but I got paid well. Picked up a load of pharmaceuticals out of Cambridge and made extra creds at Cadiz.

Vista is a load of crap. :x
The best operating systems for Freelancer are Windows 2000 and XP/XP Pro. I tried running FL on Vista and I had type bouncing all over the screen. I even had a souped-up Mac Pro running Parallels Desktop and when I ran the game in Vista, the same thing happened, and I especially hated upgrading my ship because you had a hard time reading the menu. They say Windows 7 is supposed to be good and I tried the beta version. We'll see what the final product yields, but in the meantime it's XP Pro or XP.

Jeeze loweez, Ares...
-
I concur with Ares. Mods like TIE Universe will follow the storyline, except you'll be flying around with SW TIE vessels.
-
:? I wonder if you flew in formation with Ozu? If you did, and there was no Tohoku jump hole, my only suggestion is that you do a reinstall. It may reinstall missing files, but if that doesn't work, you will have to uninstall, then reinstall.
