Really glad that people still use it Btw please dont share direct links in case of updates (I uploaded 1.0.4 shortly after) but rather the featured download link which always points to the last version: http://code.google.com/p/freelancermodst…oads/list?can=3

3D System Editor (part of Freelancer Mod Studio)

EDIT: Freelancer Mod Studio Hey guys I got some time in the holidays to play around with WPF. It is the new presentation foundation framework from Microsoft which is very powerful. It also supports ... ummm yes 3D what a surprise. So I spent a few days trying to integrate it with the super cool all in one development studio for Freelancer called Freelancer Mod Studio. Here is the very early alpha demo movie. Please leave me some feedback "Delivering the sharpest three dimensional system editing ...

New Tool - Freelancer System Editor v0.3 *UPDATED*

If the file is readonly and you want to overwrite it ... then there is no error message that the file cant saved. I hope you see that : if you have a loaded system an you click on &quot;Universe&quot;... the navmap scale changes to 1.0 (this is real time waste). And then the universe will be shown. Find a way to open universe.ini files. If i do that now ... FSLE crashes. There must be a bug by the ellypsiods. Load Li01 and look to the badlands. The shipt &quot;Li01_suprise_bh_fighter_badlands&qu...

New Tool - Freelancer System Editor v0.3 *UPDATED*

The new version is cool but there are lots of bugs: Much planets wont be shown if you load a system: Load, for example, the Li01 system. There is no planet Pittsburg. But if you click on &quot;unhide all&quot;. The planets will be shown. If you change the NavMap scale the planets wont getting smaller or bigger. If you move with the mouse over the objects ... the coordinates wont be shown. You must not show the Z coordinate, the NavMap scale, and the move buttons in the universe map. The docking ...

Also please add a &quot;Save&quot; entry into the file menu. With this entry the program overwrites the loaded System. Good luck. Edited by - STFX on 2/2/2005 11:17:14 AM

<font size=1 face="trebuchet ms"><BLOCKQUOTE><hr size=1 noshade> Its normal you cant overwrite read-only files ... <hr size=1 noshade></BLOCKQUOTE></font><font face=´trebuchet ms, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica´ size=2> I know ... but there is no error message that the new file will not be saved. The best thing you could do is to save a file even it is readonly. By Xp-Style I mean that your program supports buttons with the new Windows Xp-Style. <A href=´http://www.vbarchiv.net/archiv/tipps/tipp_6...

New Tool - Freelancer System Editor v0.3 *UPDATED*

I found another bug: If you save your System and if the .ini file is readonly ... the new .ini file wont be saved. Test this: Load the Li02 system into the FLSE. Don´t change anything and save it. Then start FL and fly to the Tahoe cloud in the Li02 system ... ... if you are in the cloud, you will see that the fog color is not white. Another thing which I would appreciate is that the FLSE supports Xp-Style. And I have a question: How long do you program VB6? I program for one year and I would n...

New Tool - Freelancer System Editor v0.3 *UPDATED*

I found some bugs: If you click on an object (base, planet, etc.) the X and Y coordinates are there... but there are no X: or Y: (X: 61238 instead of 6123 If you move the mouse over the objects ... the coordinates wont be shown. I think there is a bug in the fog color. Sometimes the object behavior and object reputation wont be saved correctly. And at last ... the object X coordinate is not in the middle of the object width. Please sort them out. Edited by - STFX on 2/1/2005 11:31:56 AM
