I´m using the latest version of flmm and I´m using the latest and only version of the mars flyer. However, I loaded a new mod yesterday, the new Zeta mod and then for the sake of trying I tried loading the mars flyer along with it and for some reason or another the mars flyer works with this mod and this mod only. I cannot explain it but I am using it and it is a demon ship. Nothing can come close to taking me out now. I have some screen shots of it in action if you all would like to use them for anything. I have started a nice screen saver in which I fly each ship that is flyable and take a screen shot of it. They are some nice screen shots so if they can be used here I´ll bring them and up load them or send them to you via email. Hey thanks again for a quick response and I do have some kewl ideas for some really nice new ships but have no idea how to mod them so I´d like to get in touch with the best ship modders and pass these ideas out to them. Let me know and thanks again...good luck out there..its getting to be larger and larger out here in space...... Mr. P

MrP, does it work without the Zeta Mod? If it works without it, and with it, but not with other mods, it just means that there is overlapping code in the other mods and not the Zeta mod. Do the other mods you are trying to use have guns or ships in them?

Here´s what I experience. If I use the Mars Flyer by itself, it won´t activate. If I try to use the Mars flyer with any mod other than the new zeta, the same thing happens, it won´t activate. When I activated the new zeta mod, I thought I´d give the Mars Flyer one more try and to my surprise it worked. I thought this was a fluke of some kind so I deactivated everything, did the tools restore backups and then tried to activate the Mars Flyer alone again and it wouldn´t activate. So I read something elsewhere here on this site about something similar and was instructed to deinstall Freelancer and reinstall it and this should have fixed what ever problem there was. I did this and then tried activating the mars flyer again and it keeps telling me some kind of Shiparch.ini and good.ini or something like that could not be read. So I did a restore backups again and reactivated the zeta mod and then tried the mars flyer and wa la..it worked. So, I quess I´m satisfied with that for now but if you have a solution I´d be more than willing to give it a go. Also, I have an email now and would be interested in beta testing other ship mods or other mods period that you folks would need testing on a single player machine with no internet access. I have access to the web but only at my wifes job. I download to a flash drive and transport those downloads to my home. I have children at home who are very bright and know how to get past most internet securities I may have set up....I taught them to much I think...any how..let me know and thanks a heap guys..email is mystirp@yahoo.com good luck out there...... I appologize for so many threads here..I have a few ideas for some nice ships if you guys would be interested in making them. Let me know and I´ll tell you about them and my ideas..I would do it but I have no experience with modding..I just play em ya see..love em....best game I´ve ever had...other than my flight sim..that´s my first love... later Mr. P Mr. P

MrP try running Louva Deus´s SDK before installing the mod. SDK is a program that installs all the original .inis into the game folder, with any errors removed, it works like a charm. Give it a try <img src=´http://www.angelfire.com/ill/parabolix/para4.jpg ´>

login im not sure i understand your question. it is not possible to control your ship while docking if that is what you mean.

ah login that is because the ships in our mod go so fast. the best way is to line your ship up with the docking port prior to selecting the dock option

problem solved, u just skipp the base <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> just finished sp, no major probs to report. sometimes there is the small problem like u have a dialogue running wich will end up in u getting the &quot;kill the battleship&quot; order but u already shot it to kingdom come have u... <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> congratz on this mod, this is the best ship ever !! and its so like the ships in the movie. it can take a pounding and it just sweeps up anny opposition it meets <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>
