Thanx a lot ! It work now but there are few things i want you to know : - when you add a docking ring to a planet and want to edit it after, you won´t be able to because you´ll have to put a loadout and there is no docking ring in the loadouts. - you should put the elipsoid shape for the debris field. - when you push the [escape keyboard key when editind/adding a system, it simply close without "caution window" the window and the system you were working in will be lost. - i don´t understand the trade lane system. - maybe (if you can) a longer sise of the rolling menus for a easier use will be welcomed. That was all my first impressions. Hope this will help. Thanx again.

Thanks Archangel, the edition of a docking ring is indeed not working properly, i´ll fix it soon. There is an ellipsoid for the debris field <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> In fact , i need to change the code but the losange shape is in fact an ellipsoid ;-). I´ll add a message box asking to confirm before exiting when some modifications have been done. good idea. The tradelane is quite simple , you click once to put the start , move the mouse and click another time to set the end. I am currently fixing the tradelane , there was some information missing (incorrect names were displayed in one of the direction ). No problem , i´ll make the list longer.

Archangel, there was a bug in the tradelane edition code. It wasnt working anymore. It´s fixed and it´s the 4th version for today. The message box has been added, the lists are now longer. And the names displayed when using the tradelane during the game should be correct now.

I believe I have found a few problems in the latest version. (Actually its probably about 7 versions away now) <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> First, sometimes when I try to place a Jumphole (all i have seen it with so far) it appears nowhere near where I wanted it to. Second, some of the zones dont appear on the map on the system ed. Now in the latest version you cant add Jump gates to the Trade Lanes destination names can you :-? MSensei, Yes at the moment only some things have the edit option. I am planning to add it on the others as quickly as possible but i am trying to know how to add all possible objects first and then starting to improve the editor itself. So from time to time an new object will be editable. Mjr.Hurtz, It´s quite possible that one of the version with the code for the new zoom was not working properly (i have seen that too), i made a fix recently and i hope that it´s solving this problem. Correct some zones don´t appear, i´ll fix it too. For the tradelane name, i simply forgot the jumpgate <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Thanks for reminding me. Editing the system properties is in the list of todo as deleting a system (this one will have to wait a little cos it´s a little bit more complex from the path point of view).

Couple more things, I made a system but the name of the system and a base in the system was just blank. The name of the star worked. And it might just be me using my go very fast mods but the sun corona doesnt want to kill me. The major they call Hurtz

Mjr.Hurtz , Indeed i also forgot the possibility to add damages to the zone , missing also interference and the type of particles. I am adding this now. it´s also possible to add fog but i´ll looking into it tomorrow. i´ll probably do a release tonigh with some fixes. The Missing names problem is quite strange.If you have a mod, can you send it to me , so i can check what has been generated. Thanks for the feedback.

I would personally rather have fewer possibilities and be able to edit them all. The tool is pretty close to useless to me if i can´t change what I add, because then I have to edit the code by hand anyway so why bother in the first place? Mjr.Hurtz, i meant sending by email <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> don´t bother posting files into the forum. Just zip the system and put it in the email , it´s far more convenient. MSensei, i understand your point of view. And i am trying hard to have this almost complete before i go in holidays in two weeks time. But i still think that even if you need to do 5% of edition by hand it´s still better than 100% <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> And for beginners, using the tool can be a good start even if it´s not complete. But don´t worry my goal is to have everything editable and deletable (if that´s a word <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>. There is not a lot missing and most of it should be simple. So from now on, most of the time will be spent in fixing the edition of object/zone. If you find something that is missing (for example , i have just added the radioactive dust in my version) don´t hesitate to point it out. Sometimes it will take less than a day to add, sometimes longer. But the principal is that i keep a list of stuff to add. So the more you ask, the more is being done. I am doing the soft for you guys , Cos i will not mod anything. So if you want something ask it <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

Any new systems I make always have the same problem, the bases, planets and the system name is blank. The only thing which does have a name is the star. Also when I put a base in New York that had a name. I hope you can work out the problem!

Hello everyone. I found a bug : nothing show exept the name when i zoom in and every thing show in the middle of the map : sun, planet, etc. I think you should inverse the zoom sense : zoom in, roll up ; zoom out, roll down. Maybe a more precise choice for the place of the system in the universe map will increase your tool´s power. One last thing : can´t you add description editor to your tool as for the name ?

Mjr.Hurtz, i think i have found the problem with the names not appearing. In fact, the dll could have been loaded twice when it was also present in the freelancer.ini. I have fixed that. There is no guarantee that it was the cause of your trouble but that´s the only problem i could find. Archangel, very strange indeed. I think there is something not initialized properly sometimes but i havent been able to find it yet. I have had a blank screen or some weird case where i put a jump hole and it´s way outside the map. I´ll try to find it tomorrow. Do you mean an infocards editor ? That´s planned but it will take a while too. I am not even sure that the code that i use to read the infocards at the moment is working properly (in fact, i am sure of the opposite ). shsan out.
