Ive always liked this passage from the bible its psalm 23: The lord is my shepherd i shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside still waters, he restores my soul. He Guides me in the paths of righteousness for his name´s sake. Even though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me, your rod and your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow all the days of my life, and i will dwell in the house of the lord forever. I have drawn comfort from this passage many times in my own life, i hope that bob´s family will as well. Windows NT crashed. I am the Blue Screen of Death. No one hears your screams

Very well done lad. He would be proud. Just one thing you forgot to capatilize the w in Worth in this sentance: &quot; We may have not known young worth in person&quot; Life: No one gets out alive. <img src=´http://www.planetgromit.co.uk/tlr/rilms.gif ´> <img src=´http://www.planetgromit.co.uk/tlr/ss.gif ´>

I edited Bargib´s newspost a bit, so that it now contains a link to this thread for people to pay their respect and to leave comments. I´m glad the page is finally up and running and i´m sure WB would be really proud and honored. Special thanks to Locutus for gathering all the needed info, it made my job of editing and creating this into a webpage much easier. Also many thanks to Bargib for creating a location for the memorial and merging it with the TLR layout. WB, we did this for you buddy! <img src=´http://www.lancersreactor.org/images/news/Erasersig(1).jpg ´> <b>Due to its gravitational pull, you´ve just been sucked into the vortex called The Lancers Reactor, from which there is no escape... </b>

When the Memorial went online I sent a Note to Sir Spectre with a Letter for Worth´s Parents, with the request to patch it through to them. I just got the Response in:<font size=1 face="trebuchet ms"><BLOCKQUOTE><hr size=1 noshade> Dear Mr. de Boom, Words fail in describing our response to your generosity in setting up the memorial on TLR. Merely thanking you seems inadequate. Please tell your fellow forumites that I added a tribute on our family´s online memorial at <A href=´http://www.mem.com/display/biography.asp?ID=450757´ Target=_Blank>www.mem.com</a> to thank you and let our family members know where to find your memorial gift to Worth. Many of our extended family and friends will be looking there. I know your project might not be kept on the TLR home page indefinately, but we will remember what you have done. I want you to know the launching of the memorial became very important to us. It is like a final public gathering to share our grief, like a funeral. We all need to go there to finish saying goodbye. You have done a beautiful job. I think Worth is indeed smiling down with immense pleasure at being recognized in such a way, and perhaps even more so at the very idea of being made into the Warlord space vehicle with the Shield of Worth! There is much we want to tell you, but for now, please accept our thanks. There is an emptiness in your forum now, and a bigger emptiness here in this room. Hundreds of people understand, and our coming together helps compensate for it a little. We all miss Warlord Bob. Sincerely, &lt;censored for integrity.&gt; his mom <hr size=1 noshade></BLOCKQUOTE></font><font face=´trebuchet ms, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica´ size=2>. I have to tell you That when I got this letter I was crying. I did this Memorial in Worth´s honour, not for any other purpose nor goal, but solely in his Honour. She also wishes me to say that she has added a tribute to his online memorial at mem.com with a mentioning to the Memorial here, you can see it by following the above link, and after that clicking tributes

I spent part of yesterday afternoon going over the e-mail correspondence I had with WB over the last few months; I was comparing some of the pictures of him with those on his family´s memorial site and thinking what a happy smiling lad he was before he got cancer, because the only shots I ever saw of him were during his illness (usually with his cat or a rocket!) I didn´t realise that his dad is/was actually his step-dad, and his real father also died of cancer. How terrible for his mother, especially now as her husband (WBs stepdad) is in the USAF reserve and the DoD is trying to make him go to Iraq as part of the force rotation. It´s still so hard to believe he´s gone. Reading his e-mails makes it so easy to imagine that you just pop one off and he replies a few hours later - well no more of that. What a crying shame. I really miss the lad, he was a top kid. My heart absolutley bleeds for his poor mother. You never get over losing a child, time doesn´t heal, it just dulls the pain. But when it´s a long wasting illness like cancer, in the end you´re just glad it´s over because even though you don´t want to lose your loved one, you can´t abide to see them suffer. All my family have died from cancer, grandparents, parents, brother and me best m8 for 30yrs has it too. Dreadful disease.

I am Gratefull for your Thanks Meryn. Very gratefull indeed, it was a little thing to do for a comrade that allways tributed so much to this site and in particular the OT community. He had a Kind streak of Nature which reminded me much of a friend of mine. The reason that it became extra tough for me to do this is because this friend of mine died the same age as Worth 4 years before, 16, nearly 17.. I did one final thing, and that was also his last wish to his Comrades, Carry his Coffin to his final resting place. Seeing the Note from Spectre, brung bak a lot of rather unhappy memories, but they also brought back a lot of fun Memory, Like the Fun I had with the Poor Guy. In a way That same Thing was between Bob and us all actually, the fun we all had. Your Brother put living colour on This Forum, The Living Colour and Light that His presence here allways shined. May your the Spirit Brother Rest in Peace in The halls of Valhalla presiding next to all Warlords of his past age. Dick &quot;Locutus&quot; de Boom Edited by - Locutus on 3/25/2004 12:22:14 PM
