Now that´s a new one! Must be weird but funny to play FL like this - lol. Sorry, more serious: Have you installed some special drivers with your mouse, like Logitech´s own drivers ? If so go back to standard Windows mouse driver; I heard that in other games (some first person shooters) such a change could help. Second possibility: I know that some Mods had difficulties running on your version of Windows. Try to run it in W98-compatibility mode.

Also, how much ram do you have? Too little and it will lag mouse/graphics. You can also use the options in FL and deactivate some of the graphics quality, and it should pick up speed a little.
