Strange hardpointing problem

Having finished my Horus model with provisorical UV-mapping and all I wanted to test it out in one of my mods.
But the model file showed no Hardpoints after being copied to the FL folder by FLMM. Manual copying showed the same result. I then opened up the model with UTF-Editor 3.0 and it showed no Hardpoints as well. Neither on the copied file (in accordance with HardCMP) neither on the original file in the mod folder (Where they are shown by HardCMP)

EDIT: I just launched HardCMP as Admin testwise. It didnt show hardpoints. But it does when not running as admin. Must have something to do with that file access redirect

I figured it out already. When I don't run HardCMP or any other software that isn't part of Windows then the File Virtualization applies. Meaning the e.g. HardCMP writes to e.g. C:\Users\<account>\AppData\Virtual Store\Program Files(x86)\ModManager\etc... instead of C:\Program Files (x86)\ModManager\mods...

Therefore, when FL ModManager copies the file it gets the unaltered original version instead of the changed version.

Simple solution to the 'file access' fubar in microbloat windoesnt vaster and later...



DO NOT INSTALL MODDABLE GAMES TO "C:\Program Files\Whatever"

Instead install them to "C:\Users\[your login name]\Games\Whatever"

Install modding tools in suitable subfolders likewise. Then when you save a modded file it just gets saved like a functional operating system should.
