this must be above the entries just read the sdk . to add the battle ships they must be in the ecounters ini both nomad and order. -
i found out that fle really doesnt work with adding ecounters. its only good for adding planets systems and bases everything else should be done manually if you wan further help email me at <!-- e --><a href="mailto:rsabatino20@comcast.net">rsabatino20@comcast.net</a><!-- e --> i am the creator of the order mod

@ rsabatino20
Not entirely true what you're saying here... You can use FLE to add any encounter you want without much problems, though in some cases you will have to manually edit some things. Also you need to add the npc_ship = "some ship" in faction_prop.ini to The Order if you want to see them in space and add loadouts etc etc accordingly to the factions!
@ Trancemachine... Check out some of the tutorials on making factions and encounters! They should give you a basic understanding of how the factions are build up and encounters work and from there (when you understand it of course) it easily done, but sometimes time consuming... lol

Check out - Freelancer Nomad Encounters v1 by vamp679
A scripted mod that adds encounters with Nomads and The Order.
This should give you some information and examples of how to add encounters using the script method...and if you look at the Freelancer - War On Nomads.xml file in notepad or whatever you use to look at text files you can see how to manually edit the system files to add Nomad and Order encounters...or any encounter by changing the entries to the proper faction.

You start off at Planet Manhattan with an Anubis
There are dogfights between Order and Nomads
This is good if you want to go against strong enemies for training
If you use these encounters please credit vamp679
It is in the Mods Root Directory. It's called Freelancer - War On Nomads

direct download link: http://lancersreactor.org/down…tutorials/?file=24&sort=1Also you can look at Close Encounters in Sirius and since it's my mod you can use any part or even all of the mod files for your own mod or even use it as a base for a mod. It has scripts and edited ini files for examples... Don't matter to me and I'm sure that everyone that contributed their knowledge, help, additions, changes and permission to use their work wouldn't mind either, which includes some very talented people, Crabtree, Glock 36, Eraser, IronSceptre, vamp679, warzog, Bob McDob, Louva-Deus and my late great friend Harrier.

direct download link: http://lancersreactor.org/down…tutorials/?file=24&sort=1Thank you for your help.. I have had a lot of help i will aknowledge, 0.8 Beta was my first release, I gave one to my friend who does not know a lot about modding, but the other copy i gave to was rsabatino20, he added xerx, open single player mod (i think or it may be just compatibility) and some ini's from the SDK too, i have been greatfull for the help with my mod and i am hpoing to upload v0.91 Beta within the next couple of days. The communnity is very helpful here and has some great resources for a olde modder, who did not know a lot about scripting and just used others decoded INI's, and the creator of FLSE, Colin Samby, this would not be possible without him! Also IONCROSS for his lists he has included in the IONCROSS character editor, has helped a lot and last but not least Bakedpotato, who told me how to upload and some handy modding tools!!
Thank you all, and i hope to rease Very soon
