  • Ok I am looking for info on a couple of items..


    1. Does anyone have of know of a link where I can obtain GAMEDATA files for Evolutions 1.28. I have spent hours googleing but to no avail. (I have the client side mod which is easy enough to make into a server side one. I REALLY don't want to have to go through all the ini files to hunt down all the new ships and items to create the gamedata for the mod.


    2. Also looking to build a mod in the near future, just before I left FL I heard of someone trying to make a Dynamic market place for FL . any info on that would be cool, as I always felt that one thing FL lacked was a dynamic market.

    They are becoming commoner as both FL-Hook has a plug-in and FLAC is about to go live with dynamic economy.


    A number of servers have a "dynamic" feel as they use a updater at log on that puts in new commodity ini's.

  • yea, there's a few things it can't exactly do right, like separating Guns and Turrets, but I doubt that's much of a problem. Very useful if your using FLHook on a server and you want to give yourself stuff. Can give yourself full cargo o' commodities (like cardamine outside Manhatten) ;)

  • Paganpryde - I was one of the original three who designed FL's first dynamic economy. It was on the Evolved server. (anyone remember Tempest, Tak'n'tar and myself, Aurorus?) Its a very complex balancing system with an update happening every day and new data downloaded from a server. The version has to be changed to accomodate (12.yyy where yyy is a number+1 from previous day).
