Browclops server shutting down August 1

    In reaction to Browclops server shutting down, lets take action to stay together. Here are some of the things we can do. 1. Let´s ask Browclops for our character files. 2. Lets do some server hunting. We need to find a new home. 3. Find another server that we like, that will hopefully install our files. 4. Let´s get as many of us to agree on a new server, so we can stay together. What do you guys think? I say we stick together and bring the Browclops culture to another server. Please add suggestions.     Hi Brow, I would like to thank you for letting us use your server and for all the fun we have had on it. Its sad to see it is going to close down and it will be hard to find another server that is so good but real work is important. I would like to wish you all the best. Slave

    Awww, sniff sniff ;_; Well, thanks for having it up in the first place Brow. I think as a tribute to the monkeys, my flagship shall go on a rampage of destruction for the next two weeks!     This is indeed a sad day for us all. I agree with the rest of you, we should stick together, as we have a great group of regular players going. And with such interesting things as Government groups going about and rebellions and stuff, we can´t possibly just lose it all! Server scouting will be necessary, but it will be extremely hard to find another server as good as Browclops. Though you know, if one of us had a good server, we coudl always use it. Just a thought, I would volunteer myself, but I don´t have a good enough server. Anyway, with luck, perhaps we could establish the same local Police force things that we have on Browclops. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> That´ll be fun.     jaguar here guys just wanna let you all know me and dame will be sticking together on where we go obviously so lets all try and stay together at one server, just because our starting server died doesnt mean we have to end it all with each-other we MUST find a goo server love that monkey brow and jaguar

    This is indeed bad news. This server absolutely ruled. Browclops deserves a lot of gratitude for running such a fair, stable server. Thanks man. A few of us play on a modded server. People are welcomed to join that if they´d like. Currently it´s running the Next Generation mod. We´d love some company in the emptiness of space. If anyone is interested I´ll let you know where it is. AND MAY THE CRAZY MONKEY MAN LIVE ON FOREVERRRRRRRRRRRR. By the way, I would like my character files or folders or whatever they are.

    Really sorry to here this Browclops. In regards to the post by Regulator, SD will be moving to Argonia Station and Elite. I am not positive about Argonia, but it looks like we will be there for now.

    I too am sorry to hear this news. I never played on your server, but from all I here it was tons of fun. As far as incorporating your user files on another server , it can be done but it , at present , requires that the server operator does it all manually. At this time I have 2 servers online and if browclops can be persuaded to send me some test files I may attempt to blend them in with mine.

    this must b the saddest day in all my time playin comp games. i totally hear ya brow, and im sad to say i cant help yet. but............... i think im gonna b starting my own server. if i do, u are all welcome (good guys and girls that play fair that is). the server name would be bits .....something. ok, brow, if i do get a new comp built and put on as a server, ull b an auto admin, and the most welcome on it. really appreciate all of what uve done, its been great. cant say it enuf. like i said, if u dont mind hittin me with my char files, that would b awesome. i, like dirty south, worked hard on em, so that would b cool to have for whatever server i move to. lata all, and keep in touch about where ur headed, those of u with my email already. bits, crusader, etc, signin off.

    Argonus has said that he cant move the files to Argonia Station at the moment, due to security issues. Browclops, is there even a small chance that the server may come back up someday? Your server was the only lag free server I can find and Ill jump at the chance to start over if its ever going to come back up.

    Yeah, the Browclops server has provided hours of enjoyment, and all the players on it kept things interesting. I think this server is the most unique, though I haven´t really been to that many servers. But whatever, I´ll miss it all. Heh, all these loyal Browclops people... we could form a clan with all the browclops people and spread the will of the monkeys throughout the other servers.

    Sorry to see this server go, was the best server for the admin, for the stability and for the fun... all the best in the future Brow, thx for putting it up for us in the first place =) As for the rest of us, what we had here in Browclops was unique, the events, the people, I really hope we all stick together and move on to a new server together, I am not ready to put my ship in the hanger just yet.
