I would like help finding a tutorial for changing the starting ship in SP.

    ewplayer.fl (somthn like newplayer). to change download the save editor and open the .fl file. the program should create a readable .txt. make changes, then click encode. make backups. I AM BIG! I AM STRONG!I AM........... WWWWIIIIILLLLDDDD!!!!!!!

  • Not sure. I´ve been having other problems along this line with my mod, now the game keeps crashing at the first mission-movie just before you see the Order ships. I have had to put replace my modded mission script with the orignal, and i´m going to have a thorough look throught the Shiparch.ini and Loadouts.ini to see if there is anything amiss.   • I know the problem. msn_playerloadout gives it the default equipment, right down to the enginepoweretc. Freelancer cant handle a tiny engine in a huge slot. Change it, it is in one of the two files above.

  • BTBW is right. If you still have any problems. wait for a while ´cuz i´m realeasing a MOD that changes the SP default ships and both King and Juni´s. Of course using my custom made ships. This is if you can wait. I´m still tweaking my special weapons. Adding the last one, an energy missile. You can learn from it. there´s a little error on it, cuz i somehow cannot figure out hoe to change the look in the equipment room cinematic with juni. Anyway when you exit that cinematics. Your Default ship is already changed. -the Ghost- and everything works fine in there. Working hard to earn... but too lazy to do something...
