I take it by your topic that you are having a problem geting to the global server. I was having the same problem. For me it was that I upgraded the directX 9b dirver via the Windows update. It didn´t install correctly. I downloaded and re-installed it again and then I could get to the global server again. Don´t know if this is your problem, but you might want to give it a try.
