New Ship Pack/Mod Ideas!

    Sry for not replying guys byut i was working arround the clock at the new SW models and as i said in the comments forum did not have time to reply. ChibiSphere, that BC from Starcraft is a nice mode, and even if i don´t like Starcraft too much i would´nt say no to it... I think the Yamato gun can be emulated through a big plasma projectile, with a orange color, and moving quite fast. It´ll hae to be very devstating, but i think i can code that quite easily. Turrets must be added as well to the BC, i agree with that. Try to match the weappon config on the Javelin or Tempest. So you can finish that model and if you want to me to texture it i can take care of that...or if you can do it yourself it´s ok as well. as you wish...

    YAY! Umm.. well so far I got 2 mines mounts on it and took away some of the turrets (compared to the Leviathan that is). It has 4 gun mounts as well that are mounted at each corner (the long horizontal tubes on each side). I have flown it once just to see what it would be like, but it was a little overscaled and I havent found a good texture idea yet... I can e-mail you the results so far in cmp format or in milkshape format if you would like. Though you may want to see it in milkshape so you can change whatever you wanted. I haven´t started on any other ships, due to lack of enthusiasm in the forum... I mean I geuss there would be no point for the rest because theres already such a huge selection of ships. The only need for these would be for former Starcraft fans but that doesn´t seem to appeal to many Freelancer players. Besides, lol, who would want to fly a terrain wraith that couldn´t cloak? <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> I just go tthis huge brainstorm when I first thought of making SC ships, and I had all this crap in my head about making a small system and three planets (one per race) and selling the sc ships from those bases.     Ok Cibi, send the model to me in ms3d format and i´ll try to find a proper texture, also i´ll fix/rebalance the hardpoints as well. If you can find/make models for the Wraith, Protoss Scout or Valkyire Missile Frigate, go ahead. Even if there´s gonna be a ton of new ships in v3.40, some nice SC models would´nt hurt.
