i like the matrix way more, but ive seen LOTR way too many times, enough to make anyone sick of it.

LOTR by a long shot. Ingenious writing by both sides, however the Lord of the Rings story is so much more in depth, even if Peter Jackson didn´t do perfect in making it a movie.

If you did it just like the book it would be SOOOOOOOO long. it would be like 10 DvD´s Freelancer/Morrowind/Halo/Halo2/Kotor/Half life/Half life2/ the best of the best?

I wasn´t complaining about the lack of quantity in the movies. Its about the crutial details that Jackson didn´t include, or changed.
