You´ve got your answer. In multiplayer, it means somebody beat you to it. As it happens, the Flint is the one everybody knows about and goes for first. (Also one of the richest to loot!) Whoops, sorry, I should have thought about the spoiler part of my post before, er, posting. Thanks for the answer, guys. I suspected that was what it was, but wanted to be certain.

To check if the wrecks are looted, double click the name of the wreck on your list of targets.
