The only thing i have to add is that there are more than enough players who love FLU and donate to keep their server online !!! p.s. If you wanna argue with me about anything of what i said you can do it here i am sure no1 will have anything to say against it !

I am an admin on 24/7 FREELANCER UNIVERSE. I apologize for the actions of this player who apparently had little regard for you or your status. I also apologize if one of our admin staff treated you off-handedly. Our server has 3 rules. No Cheating, No Modding, No Swearing. These are the only rules of conduct that admin staff get involved in in an official capacity. As GL_AndiusTheGreat mentioned, an appeal to almost any higher ranking clan member would have resulted in a response of support and defense against such cowardly behavior. I have tried really hard not to make this a flame war. And also to stick to relating what happened. I must admit that the response I have received from many people on that server is very encouraging. Since that was the very first server I had ever played on more than 15 mintues, I am glad to see that the few people I encountered are not indicative of that server or the community in general.

I´ve re-read his post, and all i can see is that he has a beef with people who hang around blowing up noobs.yeah,i´d have a problem with that too..it´s cowardly and who honestly respects a bloke who blows up startrackers/patriots and rhino´s?not me. He wasn´t happy with the admin´s reply to his e-mail,so he decided to post here and ask for any suggestions on other servers to try and have a go at,and for most of the 1st page....we did that untill the exile came up with his masterpiece. What´s the point at having a go at someone for his own feelings. Maybe the server wasn´t for him,and to be honest..if they let noobs get blown up there,it´s not for me either...so u gonna have a go at me now? As it has always been said here, if you have a problem with a server, take it up with the admin of that server, not here in the forums. If you have a problem with the Admin of that servre, move on, after all, it´s thier server, not yours. <b>You are expected to abide by THIER rules, not they to yours. </b>

Phoenix i agree that it is cowardly and extremly stuped to shoot down patriots and other low class ships and i agree that the particuliar pirate is nothing but a silly joke and i may have been a little harsh with my &quot;masterpiece&quot; but i just can stand such words about FLU ! What i meant is that on the server i play on and police,players upto a certain rank are protected by not being allowed to be blown up by other players over that rank (40 i believe).But bearing in mind that with the higher payment on missions on my server you can achieve that rank in a very short space of time (a hour or 2).Most of our new players like this rule,it means they can set them selves up with a freighter so they can do trade runs,or get a decent fighter to defend themselves with. I understand that u were defending ur server,but the way it came out seemed to be a attack on the person in question. Your also right,with the rules on ur server,the admin don´t have to protect noobs,the rules on my server means that I do. I may be getting older but i refuse to grow up <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

Actually, I have had some positive things come out of this thread for me. 1.) Since that incident was the very first time I had encountered another player in space I am glad to know that encounter was not indicitive. 2.) I have been contacted by numerous players from the FLU server who have been very helpful, and helped me to understand the server better. 3.) I have changed my overall opinion about the server, if not about certain poeple. 4.) It is nice to know that I can post things here and discuss them reasonably with most people (Of course you always have your exceptions) even if we don´t agree with each other. I apologize if I violated any forum rules. If I did so it was unintentional, and you can see from my posts that I will view and post things differently if I am shown to be in error. I still have disagreements about what happened and the way it was handled but it is nice to know, for the most part anyway, that those attitudes don´t govern all the actions on the server. Thanks!

Finalday, Exile is entitled to his opinion just as I am entitled to mine, so he is not offending me. And since I didn´t notice that he had attacked me the first time I seriously doubt that I would have noticed a second one, much less been offended. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> But one thing I do agree on, we can keep it civil if we want to discuss it further. Although I wish you would email me privately like others have and we can discuss it to our hearts content. Thanks!
