zlo , if you don´t want to be a trader, then there would be nothing within FL to force you to do so. About the only thing you don´t have much of a choice with is fighting. Not from an agreesive standpoint, but from a defnesive one. I doubt very serious

Thanx, I guess I´ll buy the game anyway, and the info you provided raised my motivation. Fighting is good, though I can hardly imagine a space sim with the joystick disabled (which, as far as I´ve heard, is gonna be the case with Freelancer). A bit disappointing<img src=smilies/icon_smile_sad.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> The statements about not wanting to exclude people who don´t own a joystick don´t sound too rational - one can have keybord+mouse option along with the joystick.
