Corsair/Outcast Story

  • Wait, isn´t Malta Outcast? And thus since the Outcasts stayed with the ship it went to the Outcast sectors leaving behind the Corsairs. "It is said that revenge is a dish best served cold, it is very cold in space." ~Khan, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

  • If you read the rumors carefully, you´d have found out the Corsairs left the damaged Hispania a long time before the Hispania limped to Omicron Alpha. Therefore, the Corsairs settled on Crete, and had to scratch and fight to survive on their own for 700 years. Same goes for Outcasts. It was only recently (last 100 years or so), that the two groups were able to explore and find the other Houses and each other.

  • And about that time as the Sirius sector met up with the Hispanians the Nomads realized, ´Crap, theres more of them, letz wax dese critters!´ "It is said that revenge is a dish best served cold, it is very cold in space." ~Khan, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

  • The sad fact is that those who were slowest in their colonization now have the most powerful ships in the game (titans). Can you imagine what Corsair battleships will be like? I wanna be at Tripoli when they make their first. Corsairs are the only friends worth having, --Fox

  • Of course the corsaiars rock, and they have the best ship, but the outcasts are good to be friendly with as well. I mean even thoe the titan is the best ship, the sabre is the best looking.

  • Hee hee, Corsair Battleship...I want one of those, think they´d give me one? I think that the Titan is better-looking really, I don´t know why, it just seems that way to me, personal oppinion I suppose. Granted though, The sabre is still cool, and easier to fly.

  • And the Eagle is even easier to fly. But all three have their advantages. What surprises me is that there are no Class 10 ships for the different houses, or the bounty hunters...most of the class 10 guns you find are on the remains of house or bounty hunter ships. Reaper: $200,000,000. Rockets: $100,000 The look on that pilot´s face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless

  • Yeah, it apears they have regressed from there old weapon splender. "It is said that revenge is a dish best served cold, it is very cold in space." ~Khan, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

  • This just reminded me, I heard a rumour from a bar patron on Tripoli (I think)regarding the past relationship of the Corsairs and Outcasts. He claimed they were allied at one point but didn´t really get into what split them up (maybe it was the Cardamine and the Outcasts sort of gradually becoming somewhat inhuman). Corsairs and Outcasts fighting side by side - even more potential for chaos than Corsair battleships. Yes, it is a bad pun.

  • That would be awesome if the Outcasts and Corsairs joined up....but if that happened then the Red Hessians would almost certainly come over with them cause of thier close relationship with the Outcasts course there is that war b/w them and the Corsairs so. Also, Dark_Fighter, not sure if I agree with you there. While I like the Sabre a lot. My personal fav and IMO best looking is the Eagle.

  • If Outcasts/Corsairs/Red Hessians all joined up, they would be unstopable criminals. Heck, another ´80 years war´ among the colonies with the new allied criminals?

  • Might last even longer than that. I could Imagine the oucasts refitting the sleeper ship Hispania into a battleship more than either the oucasts or the corsairs making thier own.

The bar is where friendly people like to meet before they launch to space and kill each other.

  • I reached the Corsair home system today for the first time and I think if the expansion game is based on Corsairs, it would be awesome. Besides the Red Hessians, the Corsairs also wanted to take over the Zoner base at the Freeport 5 and get their biodomes so they can manufacture their own food. Besides that, they are also planning to invade Rheinland territory and also wage war with the Outcasts.....Fantastic story here. I hope the expansion game will be based on Corsairs. Oh btw, if you didnt know, Outcasts faction are tying to poison the whole Sirius system with Cardamine too... Btw, I went to shoot at the floating Hispania sleeper ship and suddenly it turned red and with the battle music playing the background....luckily there are no Corsairs ships around and the Hispania is all but a piece of junk How is this possible? I thought that ship is already damaged beyond repair?

  • you actually found the hispania floating aroun??? Mr.Niobium Edited by - Chevieblazer on 15-05-2003 00:45:36

  • Yup ... i saw it too ... it was the last thing i saw, "you know" before being raped and pillaged by the outcasts and respawning on Planet Leeds ... Get in, sit down, shut up, and hang on.

  • You should get neutral with the Corsairs and go their base, the background in very nice with all the sont buildings and such. Also, I must insist that you go to the bar and read Corsairs news, alot of fantastic news plus some of the Corsairs plans in it too. I was wondering, why the hell would you post a masterplan to invade Rheinland teritory inside the news? Perhaps the Corsairs know that no people would land on their planets except their own kins? lol
