It makes no sense. All this money invested. The hype ALL over the web. The contest, etc... And now they pull this crap? Stupid man, just plain stupid! Fox did the same thing with AvP. But, the fans got together with programmers and texture artists, to make their own editior. And it´s coming along quite nicely. I´ve already used some of the beta tools and the finished product will allow much more including map editing and map making. So, were there´s a will, there´s a way. Fans always get what they want . If they want it bad enough, they´ll do it themselves! There better be some damn good mission packs after this stunt! Mike

    It would greatly increase the game value of the game if they would release the map/mission editor. I wonder why they won´t? Stupidity? Lack of me kicking them in the a$$? I dont know but they better release it. JOIN THE DARK SIDE AND WE WILL RULE THE UNIVERSE!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

    I must say I agree with Admiral, it´s much more wiser to build a Mission Editor that is tested and proven, also compatible with both version and the upcomming version (hopefully), and sure DA and MS are working with an Expansion pack! Look at Freespace:Silent Threat, X-Wing vs TIE Fighter:Balance of Power, and some others, they did a good job, and it helps them (the company) to build a better game because it adds features, fixes bugs, and the like, because of you guys (and girls) ask ´em to do so! That´s how the same game gets better, than making a whole new game! Karab
