Freelance RB 3.30 bug reports, comments and tips thread

  • the Dagger XR has 5 guns and 3 turrets. 2 of the turrets hardpoints support guns as well so the configuration can became 7guns/1 turret. The last patch fixes it´s HP errors, get it from LR´s main page.

  • Hi! The non-corsair Centurion has 200 cargo, the infocard shows 20. And Stokes station was destroyed by Molly capships, the station respawned. But it was closed "acces deniede" when tried to dock. One guy died, and was docked in there last time, the server crashed when tried to undock.

  • Ok, having a problem with the Escape Sprague mission (mission 5 i think). As i leave the planet, the game crashes to the desktop , while loading the rhienlander battle. I have the SKD installed, only the Rebalance mod(with patch) loaded. I´m using thre DeathScythe, with 4 Toxins, 1 Heavy Ion Blaster, and 2 rebel x5 turrets. no missiles. Any ideas? Is the deathscythe bugged or something?

  • actually, it was every time i tried using the death scythe..i switched to the dagger xr, and it played fine. Oh well, the dagger is cool too <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Although, i love the looks of the death scythe...not sure i like the way the engines and thrust work, but it is sweeeet in a fire fight!

  • md Hi it was mentioned in the comments for one of your patches, that you could just extract these patches and overwrite the files in the original RB 3.3 mod folder, so instead of activating the fix after RB 3.3 you just activate RB and it would alr

  • MD, do you think you could make a patch perhaps to DECREASE the number of roaming ships in the EFA system? it cripples and crashes some of the servers... Maybe just make it optional for the people who run smaller servers...PLEASE! Thanks. Baene

  • BTW, i love the Dagger XR, but still having an issue where all the guns don´t show/dont fire, is there something i can edit in the save file or something to fix that? it worked just fine, with Toxins, then tried adding the radar jammer and some quark cannons, and found a couple of the guns disabled themselves. switched back to toxins, no joy. any ideas? i know the patch did fix this once...maybe i need to re activate the mod?

  • yes the ammo thing with the swarm missiles is horrible. ever try having 6 moonstalker pods on your ship? you pay more for ammo than you get for the mission. and the ships are way too expensive. its like 200k just for a good ship. last point. is there a good trade route somewhere? i found a good one: artifacts from earth to new tokyo, makes about 800 each. is there a better one? CLOAK!!! I need cloak! Where are those darn cloaking devices micro$oft promised us!!!!!!!!!!! Edited by - zimirken on 2/20/2004 7:04:59 PM

  • pondafarr maybe when MD imported my ship´s from my ship pack and edited it, he somehow forgotten something.   • i can´t explain it myself...maybe it was just system stress trying to load the &quot;docking ring explosion&quot; cut scene...i have no clue...but it did work when i switched ships. the death scythe rocks <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

  • seems like zmirky has some probs but i found a good way to make fast money the Hp prob of the dagger is caused by an copy of the file so maby micheal made 2 CMP versions and that is causing the prob

  • Michael Dan, great job on the Mod. I have a question, though. I understand what the shield powercells do (help shield regenerate faster) and what the shield capacitors do (increases total shield strength). But what do Fusion Injectors do?? I can´t see an improvement or detriment when using them

  • Fusion Injectors increase the rate of regeneartion of your power (the yellow bar). BTW, what is the most expensive/best non-cap ship VHF/HF in this mod? Edit: Oops pondaffar beat me to it. Edited by - unclepodger on 2/21/2004 2:13:15 AM
