    I would put my base in the Gaileo system where there is a lot of traffic to pirate and it will be in the third cloud where the hackers and rogue bases arent in, leftmost, i think

    My super secret base would look like one of the docking ports to Trenton in Manhatten, and guess where I would put it? Smack dab on the end of that thing. Why? It would be a refuge for drug running gone wrong (you get a load of cardamine right to manhatten and then you´re scanned). Simply dock in the rougue dry dock, wait for things to cool off, and then make your run to manhatten, a mere 1,000 meters or so. Plus, who´d notice a dock number six?     Mine would probably be in Omicron Gamma, in the cloud with the jump hole to Theta.     Hmm, I can think of maybe half a dozen places... Edge of Omega-13, having a black hole on your doorstep makes for intresting views, and easy access to Omega-41, and the Independant worlds. The dust cloud in the Pittburgh debris field, easy access to Liberty space, and it´s got a really nice atmosphere, Maybe low orbit around Hades and Cerberus, I kind of like those damp alien debris fields for some reason, lots of places to hide... I can think of dozens of really cool places... in the end though I just tend to operate out wherever is friendly to me,and go back home to Omicron Alpha now and then. *Puffs on Cardamine mask*, The air at home is definatly better for your lungs...
