This is from Starship Troopers 3 a terrible space combat series but a very funny video -- I sat there completely stunned at this -- reminded me of the first robo cop movies and there comercials -- heinlein never forsaw this terrible version of his great novel

Starship Troopers 1 was really good. 2 sucker so much ass, I don't think a long term hoocker could suck more. I wonder how bad three is going to be.
And A funny story on Starship Troopers 2 is about me and who was once my best friend.
We bought 3 movies with our money combined. Red VS Blue Season 3, Starship Troopers 2, and Alone In The Dark. On our way back to his house we were arguing on who would take Starship Troopers 2 because we both wanted it. After watching it, we were still fighting on who was going to take it as neither one of us wanted it.
Yes, Starship Troopers 1 was great, fresh new feel to the way a movie was done, ST 2 like Alfa Astrix said could not have been worse, wooden spoon award, and now ST 3 has come out, yet they have Johnny Rico back so this might be ok, but truth be told I'm not holding my breath.
it was these exaggerated little vignettes of the media of the future that were amongst my favourite aspects of the Starship Troopers film (2 doesn't count because it right royally stank) and this little clip demonstrates the manipulative commercialism of the neo-fascist future so well i think it's a proper little gem, and q funny too.
Heinlein's novel is about our past, not our future; you can'rt separate it from his experiences and observations of WW2, but the film said a lot about our future if you looked carefully enough.
