No reason. Simply appealed to me at the time.
How we all chose our names:

must of been some subconcious reason. Reading lots of fanstasy novels? like a Dark Power Stone sorta thing?

If there was a reason, I can´t remember it. Too long ago I just checked my profile, and I found I registered on the 29th of February Edited by - Darkstone on 10/2/2004 12:44:45 PM

It´s a really complicated story but basically it´s a name I chose for myself a couple of years ago to reflect my uh, new-found state of mind. It was orginally Akmed Furious then it evolved to Balthazar Furious about a month after that. I got Furious from the movie Mystery Men off Mr. Furious, because I had one hell of a temper(still do really), and Balthazar I had heard on the Baldur´s Gate II expansion so I changed the spelling slightly and used it. And ever since it´s been my trademark name. Of course I used to be fish4198 on this site but oh well. ------------------------------- The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse whore. Hence, Freelancer. Before ANYBODY asks.... I had my username BEFORE the game even existed. Thank you.

Well, -=[CKC=- is the clan I´m well established in and I´ve always had a penchant for the Red side of things, politically wise and game wise. Paddy is a name I was given by my school comrades. On Blitzkreig (the finest WW II RTS to date), nothing can stop my legions of the glorius Red Army!
-
CKC?!! You wouldn´t happen to have been the same people who were active on Gameplanet would you?
-
Yes Balthazar, it be the one and only CKC. Why does this cause you so much alarm?
-
Does the name Thanatos ring a bell? Or the mutant clan?
-
Does it!? I used to be a [Mutant myself!!! Oh man yeah I use that server coz I´m a New Zealander, cuts down on the ping time. Yeah Thanatos is DHSF, has a Xeno pilot for his avatar on the gameplanet forums I love the smell of Napalm in the morning

for those who don´t know, the prefix "Gowser" means he´s from Glasgow, "Gow" to it´s inhabitants. but he doesn´t live there now. sadly for a Scot, GP has to live in England (but within sight and walking distance of Scotland) which I find rather amusing
