Warp Drive

So Chips you are saying it´s possible? Will it work with SP? Can u make a mod for me that will do this kind of thing? I promise to use it only with SP. Oh and one other thing. Who can teach me how to make a mod. I wanna know everything about mod making. Please Lance Cho

Its not possible how you want it to work, and you cannot "engage" it at will either. This isn´t a modification to anything mounted on a ship at all in fact, it has nothign to do with equipment, weapons - or anything else. You cannot press a button and select your system, or create jumpholes in front of you. Its a cheap "mod" (and I use the word losely as possible) that was used by a group who called themselves the "server terrorists". They used it to go onto servers, taunt the admins and then crash the server at will... often freezing up FLServer so that the server would not reboot without human intervention. The "warp drive" you are looking for is a fairy tale of rubbish. All that is even remotely close is this hack, and you wouldn´t be able to use it anyways. I suggest you leave it at that.

hmm if there is any way to always jump to a single constant position at will, then it sortof is possible. i got the idea from watching Andromeda, and them talking about Slipstream and something abvout suns gravity and whatnot. my idea is that you always jump to a nexus system. it has a hole bunch of jump holes, and you can choose which one to go to. you could even have multiple nexus systems. and to make trading harder, make the nexus systems dangerous, so only the best pilots can naviagte them. just a suggestion though.

Not meaning to sound to harsh..but If it was possible to create a &quot;warp drive&quot;..don´t you think someone would´ve done by now?Come on...i bet the outcry for a long distance Jump drive was huge when FL 1st came out,who really could be bothered to go from Omi Alpha all the way to say Cambridge just to meet a friend..chances are by the time u got there ur mate would´ve left.Yes the server that allows all and any mods does exsist..i´ve seen it listed on the GS. I´d love a long distance Jump drive...but the reality is it´s not gonna happen Normal service will resume after the next punctuation mark .
