"for once, i`ll actually tell you what i was thinking; but maybe i won`t have anything to say.."

  • heh, well he is known as Perpetuator <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> j/k mate, welcome to TLR, and I hope you enjoy the ride

  • I remember when one of the hosts died of lung cancer from second hand smoke... that was really sad, he was a cool guy... i was about 5 or 6 at the time so i dont remember an aweful lot, but that was a really cool show

  • shoorly you´re thinking of Roy Castle, the entertainer? he wasn´t a host of Blue Peter, although he did used to appear on it, from time to time.

  • yep Roy Castle died of second hand smoke because he was a jazz trumpeter (hmm or was it cornet?) as well as a children´s entertainer ( &quot;record breakers&quot; ) which meant he was inhaling large lungfulls of smoke every night. I got a blue peter badge too - but only a white one (participation) - can´t remember exactly what it was for, some record attempt that my school made and was compulsory for us to join in with....you know the type, how many school kids can we get doing the conga for charity etc etc Edited by - gromit on 10/6/2005 3:12:53 AM
