So I was reading through the Terms of use page on the site, and I came across something that I'm unsure of.
"Information exposure" tools count as multiplayer hacks? What would "information exposure" include?
And what are all the references to SWAT about?
e.g. there are tools which manipulate the memory in order to cheat
the references to SWAT are simply based on the fact that TLR is hosted by SWAT, there are legal reasons
Well, obviously the things which alter game play aren't allowed to be posted here - but what about the legitimate tools like FLCompanion, FLDataStorm, etc.?
FLCompanion has a built in feature to disallow the use of it if the server admin does not wish it to be used
DS can be blocked... but that is much more complicated
however the exploit is minimal... not much bigger than using the map that is available at TLR
different example is a tool that overwrites the speed limit or the fire frequency of weapons
those should be not posted ... just for the simple fact that such tools cause indirect damage to FL servers
