  • Here´s one... If there were AI freelancers in the game, what would THEY be doing for a living? Would there be a Freelancer guild? Or would they all just be your average Joe out to make a buck? If they were a guild, who would like them, and who would want to rip off their heads and piss down their throats?   • How about a dynamic economy, say if there is a freighter shipping food to a lonely station in the middle of nowhere, and you killed that freighter. Now the demand for food at that station would be far greater, and they would pay a larger price for the food than if you hadn´t killed the transport.   • another thing with the dynamic economy could be that if you do a trade route over and over again, the profitability of that route would go down and you would have to find another one or something like that,and have fluctations in the commoditie prices due to events that happen, like if you read on the news board that something happened like a freight convoy got attacked and destroyed that would affect the value of the commodities, and i think im starting to ramble so im gonna stop, lol

  • You could imagine it being annoying, taking Diamonds from Berlin to Tokyo only to find out the stock market has changed. It would be more real, but i thiink it was left out so not to frusatrate the player. As for fuel that runs out... Sod it. You would suddenly stop and have to call in support while people where shooting you up the ass. Having banks with loans and buyable stocks sounds good. Don´t pay off your loan, about 20 Bounty Hunters start fallowing you until they kill you. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

  • Would it not be cool if u had a server, and with your ID, access to a battleship? I mean only the server owner is ´captain´ of this ship and your clan mates could dock to it, for purposes such as: stocking up on missiles/mines/counterm./nano´s/batteries etc. You would not be able to buy better/other weapons, only sell them @ regular prices. The loot in the form of cargo could be dropped off to share it with your clan mates, or if you´re the team member short on credits, sell it @ a good price. Perhaps it would even be possible to swap ships with clan mates when both docked. It would even be cooler if this server (essentially the battleship and its crew) was able to interconnect to other servers (ships). That would even spread the load on the main server (servers with their own connected players connecting to a server as ´player´). SFC Edited by - SFC on 10-10-2003 19:05:26

  • i had more than a second´s thought on that before. it´ll be really cool if you could get a battleship in MP.. and stock it up on eagles.. and titans.. sabres are the in-between.. don´t like that. so stock your battleship up on eagles and titans and go up against other MP teams battleship to battleship fighters to fighters.. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> and the bots and all would be bought by the battleshpi using the crew´s credits. the price fluctuation and stock market idea has some potential but shouldn´t change in overall.. example; diamonds should remain super cheap in rheinland and be sky high in kusari.. luxury liners should buy luxury foods at super high prices all the time. as for the stocks.. it´ll be too easy a way to get cash. even easier than sittin in the middle of a police zone and shootin everything into spacedust in a dromedry (to get the loot)

  • Make the Battleships more realisic in size and then make them have a limited amount of space. I dont know how a Liberty Battleship held 6 Defenders and then my Sabre Great idea haveing Battleship fights.   • Erm, its already been done. Evo has mineable only commodities, lootable only commodities as well. It also has pilots for NPC´s as well as Escape pods from bases etc that get blown up - including capships.

  • Heh.. I just got a dumb idea...Guild System... Battle for the planets. As U know, A battleship can moore on Docking rings. A successfull BattleShip that can moore on the Docking rings(provided u can moore on enemy structure..for Battleships only OR create a special ´engineer´ ship to capture it)will take over the planets resources... hmm now about resources.. why would u want to capture planets? erm.. a possible per hour Guild money, lets say 1M credits per hour? of course, the guild leader has to be Battleship CO. thats my utter fantasy... :p argh i´m never gonna get paid, Goodbye a million credits
