games better from Freelancer?!

There´s not really a helluva lot out there in terms of space games. You could try Starlancer which is the (sort of) prequel to Freelancer, it is a very linear game but still lots of fun. Or you could wait around for X2: The Threat but it remains to be seen if X2 will be any good.

I got Freespace 2 and I like it. It´s a space sim, but nothing like Freelancer. To be honest, I don´t think there is any game like Freelancer. I go with Mustang and say wait for X2, or maybe you´re one of the lucky few who live in the USA, you can get it already. It´s better to chase a rabbit then to catch a hare...

I know someone in the ol US of A who says X2 is all and more that its supposed to be - however, its not MP playable.......yet (yet?). Puts a big dampner on it - they must make it MP playable at some point mustn´t they?

No, X2 The Threat is not MP. They will be bringing out an X2 Online Universe later, but I think that you pay monthly fees to play that. MMO type thing (I think)

Freespace 1 + 2 are cool games to play. (Ive had them so lon that I don´t play them)

Wiz , But which one is more fun?

I don´t know, because I haven´t played X2 yet. But if I´m correct, I beleive X2 is a different game: kind of a RTS in space. Can someone help me out here?
