This is FF and I´m okay. The quake and tsunamis were too far away from where I live (I live in the center while the quake was on the western edge of the nation). Thanks for your sympathies for my countrymen, and I offer the same courtesy to those from other countries.

Its the first time My country´s been hit by Earthquake and Tsunami hours later so some of our coastal area is hit badly and at the moment casualty is 10 death and rising. I live nowhere near the beaches but my brother even saw a kid died in front of him because he lives in some of the worst hit areas. They say the Shake is feelable, but i was sleeping at that time so..

I just heard from the US Geological Dept that the tectonic plates are still shifting and there may be more that are beyond &quot;aftershocks&quot; anywhere up to a year from now. I doubt they´ll ever get a true count of how many people died. I heard on the *sigh* evening news that the storm had destroyed over a million homes. Wouldnt that leave more than 250,000 homeless?

My dad talked about it yesterday, but i never knew it was this horrible! Boscoe , maybe some people lost thier computers but are still alive that post on TLR.

Like I´ve said, mother nature is not a happy thing.

They´ll never get a true count, but many feel it could be up to 100,000, and that´s assuming the bodies don´t spread malaria.
