• umm, a Tsunami has nothing whatsoever to do with weather. That would be plate tectonics. As for the weather, get used to it happening every couple of years... <img src=´http://www.danasoft.com/sig/thisisfakedotcom.jpg ´> --------------------------------------- <img src=´http://www.spreadfirefox.com/c…s/Buttons/88x31/safer.gif ´> Ok, I´ve tested the email and it´s ok. Sorry for the confusion, but we get people constantly putting fake emails in, and that´s strickly verboten. Boscoe Edited by - Boscoe on 1/12/2005 6:27:10 AM

 • if i was a really weird conpiracy theorist, id say that the tsunami was induced as a plan by the illuminati. while flooding and plauge ravages the affected areas, the governments pour money and politics into disaster recovery. as the governments are weak, illuminati infiltrators take advantage of the governments weak internal defenses and set up a global power base inside the government. you have to admit however, that the disease outbreak was a surprise, even I did not expect something like that.

 • Talk about it, the weather in NZ has been crapola. All the fruit is basically ruined because of the cold temperatures. I don´t even think we´re getting near 30 degrees celcius right now...just hovering on 18 The Sirian Rogues, Scourge of the Sirius. • The tsunami DOES affect weather patterns! Weather patterns are generally set by ocean currents, and water temperatures. A change of 1 degree (celsius or fahrenheit) will change weather patterns worldwide. Stinger is correct that El Nino (or its opposite La Nina) will change weather patterns substantially for the entire United States, and all of North America. Since waters from the Indian Ocean (warmer than pacific, generally) have moved into the pacific, its undoubtely changed weather patterns. I have a close friend who lives in the Simi Valley near Los Angeles. He says he´s forgotten what the sun looks like. In the East Coast, we´re averaging 40-50 degrees (fahrenheit) where the previous two years were among the coldest on record and last year we had the most snow ever recorded. So yes, the tsunami has changed the weather. Remember, it´s ocean currents which cause hurricanes, and I´d say that changes the weather. Ask anyone in Florida this past summer.

 • Your water temps, if in C is even more than F in number of degrees. I wonder how much of a difference it would take to change the weather. As in the movie, Day after tommorow.

 • New bizarre weather: Yesterday in Ohio it was cold (around 30 F), today It was almost 70, tomorrow about the same, then on Friday it´s supposed to drop to around 20 (high). There is a lake in my backyard, and it has aquatic plants in it... it´s been there a little over a week.

 • Arania it wasnt the illuminati, it was..... the Masons they also hired lee harvey oswald to kill JFK, and consequentially had to hire jack ruby to kill oswald. its all comin

 • The Illuminati killed Kennedy??? Whatever you guys are smoking, give me a puff! The whole "global warming" issue is about a change of 1-2 degrees fahrenheit each few years. It´s caused huge melting of many of Antarctica´s ice floes, and they´re expecting that all northern hemisphere glaciers will be melted in 100 years or so. This will cause ocean levels to rise by a few inches, but that is significant for coastal areas. Ocean temperatures are generally rising, again, by one-two degrees every 5 years or so. Hence the increase in hurricane activity in the Atlantic and Typhoons in the Pacific. Much has to do with the bastards who are cutting down all the rain forests in Brazil. 100 acres per day are being destroyed and turned into farmland. The Greenhouse gases from their destruction will not let anything grow, so they´re diggin their own graves (and ours too!).

 • i´m in western maryland and it was 70 today i was outside in a t-shirt in january! i think its time we launch some sleeper ships *pulls out freshly made star chart and starts countdown*

 • I live in Connecticut (about 30 miles from NYC) and it´s going to be 70 (fahrenheit) and pouring rain today. Guess we´ll get a taste of what the Californians have been through. Definitely bizarre weather patterns this year. I saw in the new yesterday that Northern England and Scotland had 120mph winds and 12" of rain in one day.

 • we´re getting rain in the middle of the summer...its not supposed to rain here during the summer. I don´t think people will complain tho...most of the WC is already on water restrictions so every little bit helps.

 • Yes it has been quite odd weather for us (I live in Chicago) as well. A couple of days ago it was 65 and raining, the next day it was 5 and sunny. Being a conspiracy theorist () I was compelled to look into it , I had actually been talking with some friends about it before, and had an urge to bring it up when i saw this thread. If you go to google and type in alaska ionosphere, the first thing that comes up will be the main page of HAARP (not related to AARP ). HAARP is a U.S. government run "research" operation in Alaska that has been going on since 1990. They are testing and studying events in the ionosphere (a layer around the earth that begins at about 30 miles from ground level and is about 600 miles thick). The ionosphere is made of unbalanced particles, unlike most layers which are neutral. This imbalance can disrupt radio signals, (it is one of the reasons why radios get bad signals some times or skip out) skip them, and make them bounce to areas hundreds of miles away from the host station, well outside of their desired range. This caught the US DoD´s (Department of Defense) attention, you see, the skipping of radio signals to other locations is obviously bad for strategic planning as much is done over radio communication and having the radio signals bounce, well, they could end up anywhere. So the US government went to Alaska to sort this problem out. They have done all sorts of tests on the ionosphere through their existence, and as you could imagine, 15 years of screwing with a layer of the Earth wont exactly make Mother Nature´s day. In the past couple years, activity has picked up at Gakona, Alaska, and "coincidentally" the weather has gotten very odd in that time period also. Chicago (a city which typically gets close to or over 100F days quite often in the summer) got over 90F one day this entire summer, and now, the winter has temperatures that change more than a person changes their socks. It is a pity what people will do to a planet in order to protect themselves, but I guess it is inevitable in a world of greed, power, and lies. The website for HAARP is here .
