Best ship

    Out of the VHF class, the Eagle is probably the best. Basically, the Titan has the best armor but slowest turn rate, the Sabre has the best firepower, and the Eagle has the best agility (relatively speaking, for a VHF, lol). The turning advantage usually puts it over the top. The order Anubis barely qualifies as a VHF and is far inferior to any of those three. That said, the best ship isn´t necessarily a VHF. Plenty of pilots fly the super-agile Drake Light Fighter, and I personally like the challenge of flying something like a Banshee instead of my ship doing half the work for me. So it´s really an open-ended question.

    I´ve never flown a Titan, but I´ve flown the Sabre and the Eagle. I prefer the Eagle for its higher maneuverability. When the speed of all ships is the same and the firepower of the VHFs is roughly equal, I think that the maneuverability of the Eagle puts it over the top. Still, a smaller ship flown well is just as dangerous. It´s a matter of personal choice and skill.

    i must disagree, there is another difference other than maneuverability between the best VHF´s, there is the armor, and number of nano´s and shield batts able to be carried. the eagle can carry 63/63 but the titan can carry 71/71, which, for some pilots, could mean the difference between life and death. Also, as far as the armor goes, the Titan has 12600, where as the Eagle has only 9900, which, for those not gifted in maths, is a difference of 2700 armor.     Hammerhead is an interesting option, as well as the Valkryie. Two good choices to score you some style points/have some fun.

    well, eagle is the best ship if you are able to tail other fighters and fill them with lazer holes. but titan is the best for freighter pilots who want´s abit of fighter experience. sabre is just in the middle of the two listed above.

    Well before this is locked, Titan is garbage unless your using cheats. Flys like a brick, wonder why i´ve never seen a long time player online use one to get nomad weps? Sabre´s are the standard VHF for killing nomads and for being a terror, my advice go Sabre. Froget the Brick...     DSQrn : a ship is only as good as it´s pilot. obviously you are a far better pilot than the person in the titan, however, if you were to verse an equaly good pilot, he in a titan and you in a dagger, i have no douts that he would have a defining victory.
