Nintendo Revolution´s controller revieled! This is NOT a fake!

  • Yeah, i saw it. Personally, I think it has to be one of the most innovative things ever. GYroscopic controls...imagine, being able to swing link´s sword in zelda any way you move your arm, instead of pressing a single button to swing.

  • There is a wireless keyboard and mouse, where the mouse has a gyro in it. So its not that farfetched to have. The Gyro mouse is ok, just hard to get use to.

The time has come, Join The Resistance!

  • Aye, I viewed that article last night. The simplistic "pad" makes sense, but it looks even more awkward than the old ones. Plus, it seems even smaller! How am I supposed to get my big paws around that thing? *Walks off grumbling*

  • even thou I am a hard-cored pc gamer I still think that the duel-analog controller for the playstation 1 and 2 is the best on the market. I have seen photos for the PS3 and it looks way to small for me to use ( it looks like a small raser boomerang) this controler for the next nintendo looks like my hand would cram up in ten minutes lol. Blessed Be to all those that still dream of the flight to the stars.

Blessed Be to all those that still dream of the flight to the stars. quote " You wouldn`t like my Happy Place it is full of blood, carnage, and destruction" :ME :)

  • well i love it. And for anyone talking about how it looks uncomfortable, it may seem that way, but everyone who has ever held the controller says it is very very confortable.

  • I´ll agree with Harvey here. That thing is the fugliest thing I´ve seen since the last time Michael Jackson was on TV.

  • I feel my wallet getting lighter every second. Mini-Taw has probably got one pre-ordered <img src=smilies/icon_smile_sad.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> why is parenting so expensive? <img src=smilies/icon_smile_sad.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

"for once, i`ll actually tell you what i was thinking; but maybe i won`t have anything to say.."

  • This thing has potential but it will depend on the way the control system of the Revolution´s game implement it´s use. Personally I think it would make an awesome controller for FPSs

  • This controller has to be the neatest thing, EVER! Hey, c´mon lad, it doesn´t hurt yer eyes... I mean LOOK at it, that´s sooo cool! musthavemusthavemusthave... *walks of into shadows, mumbling*

  • OMFG THAT IS DUMB im s o not getting a revolution, sure it was innovated, but there are lots of innovated things that didnt work

  • I agree, I think that the Dual analog Sony Playstation controller is the best controller ever made, I also like the old Sega Genesis controllers...Now these new high tech junky pieces of...well...junk...ugh <img src=smilies/icon_smile_angry.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> I´m perfectly content with a controller that works, I don´t need a high tech one that doesn´t work <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> But I´m not surprised that this design is so horrible...Think about Nintendo´s history with controllers <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Always trying to be different...and ending up being bad <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Edited by - parabolix on 9/24/2005 4:31:30 PM

  • spinnaker, you have to give these things a chance before you go off and saying it´s dumb. Like I said, anyone who has ever held one said it was very confortable to handle, even thought it doesn´t look that way at first.

  • the remote itself looks clean and well-thought out - certainly in the current Mac-inspired minimalist vogue. looks a bit of a pig´s ear when it´s docked in the controller, but then that´s Japanese industrial design for you! you should see some of the stuff my kids brought back from Japan...

"for once, i`ll actually tell you what i was thinking; but maybe i won`t have anything to say.."

  • well, as i said, that was just an image of what ign thinks it may look like. nintendo hasn´t reavealed what it would look like yet.

  • Ugh....... why would anybody want a TV remote to shoot things with? Not to mention youd have to see if all your remotes work on your new system to find out which one it was!

  • you would have to be literally blind to not be able to pick out the revolution controller from other remotes. it seems logical to me...people seem to be sitting at tvs with remotes in their hands anyway...
