The Community Framework

  • For a few months meanwhile we follow the idea to merge the Frameworks of the oldest Freelancer communities (Lancersreactor and the SWAT Portal).
Benefit of that would be that resources can be shared and work on the sites and our projects (including mod projects) can be optimized.

The communities will operate just like they did in the past as two different websites while the users can (if they wish) use both sites and their features with just one login. This creates the largest Freelancer community network with more than 50.000 registered members and the largest active player base of the Freelancer community.

By doing this step this summer (ETA July) we expect a major content boost for both websites as we have used the past months to prepare many new features and services for active members and modders.
I am also glad to announce that we going to get major support from 2 other major (not Freelancer related) game communities.

  • an international gaming community and large community dedicated to games news (details will follow later)
next to that we have received the offer to get funded by another large portal if we put in some ads here (a decision has not been done yet; still the the offer looks very promising as we are not talking about peanuts here)
