    It would lag a lot less if we could keep the twits running speed mods out, the latest that I saw was Capt._M.Reza, I sent a screenshot to Meiyo.

    I just logged on for a couple minutes earlier this afternoon but the lag made it unplayable. I´m inclined to think its being caused by modders rather than just hardware issues. The server was fine when it first started. I agree with Doc, we´ve got to do something about these modders/hackers/cheaters who are screwing us over.

    We are doing all we can to find them... but its up to the everyday player to make sure they are caught. And the hardware upgrade wasn´t done over the weekend as planned. Something came up.

    I noticed the link from Technowizards that´s been posted in Console news is a dead link now. I´m keeping my eye´s open for the modwhores but it´s really starting to feel like a losing battle. Boy I can´t wait till Halo and Homeworld2 come out.

    I think we are all just waiting for some the lastest and greatest games to come out. Because lets be honest, FL is great, the browclops community is great. But the server won´t be here for all of time. There will come a day when it will suffer the same fate as browclops MkI. We can only prey that day is far away. I can ensure you right now though that it is no where in site at the moment. Modders won´t live long once found. I knew we should have avoided posting on lancers, but whats done is done. Short of passwording the server, there is little I can do about it. We might be closing new account creation soon though. Till we weed out some of the bad apples. Too all of those waiting for account transfers, it might be a little while more. For me to upload the new characters is shall we say, much more complex than it is for other servers. Mainly because I have to do it all remotely. When I browse through the accounts, or transfer characters, I have to download the whole every single folder character folder via FTP, browse them, find yours, find yours, browse the files from Browclops, find the matching ones, move the characters from that folder to the new one, then surf the FTP once more for your files and upload them to the correct folder by a manual search. Its very time comsuming. And for safety, I have to take the server done while doing this, to make sure nothing gets corrupted during any of the downloads or uploads by the server writing to these files.     I don´t know much about finding people who are modding but I did see a couple of characters last night that had a system of ???? in the Chat window. Does this mean anything ligit? or should I forward the screen shots that I took?

    That means the players are sitting in the F1 screen where you choose one of your characters. It is a way for players to say afk without taking any messages but still hold a place on the server. --------------- Earendil SysAdmin of Boston Freelancer server
