    wolf deamon your wrong,i would know because i talked with the creator of Freelancer. As wierd as it may seem, Mexico some how became the third richest nation in the world(solar system whatever). Mexico was had one of the alliance sleeper ships, the El Signia(Sig-ne-ia). But unfortunatly it was damaged very badly by the coloition assualt and drifted off on its own, never heard of again. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

    Seriously -- if that´s allowed in this thread -- there are some parts of the game which show that FL was released before all the bugs were cleaned out. That rumour about 8 ships probably is one of them. Perhaps more story line was planned once upon a time.     Why do people always talk about a new house having all the newest advantages over all the others??? First off, if they were drifting for ... how many centuries is Freelancer ahead of Starlancer? Do u honestly expect them to offer ships/guns/equipment far superior to all of Sirius? Get real man! Though it would be nice to have an expansion set in which the Mexicans arrive. They could set up home somewhere in the mysterious border worlds.

    they would be willing to pay more to remove criminals from systems because navy/police would still be small their weapons would have to be crappy-ish but maybe one or two good ones..

    I think what would be cool is the arrival of a sleeper ship on which the people had awakened long before. Their journey had been slowed down or something, so they colonised a different place entirely, but then one day they decided to follow the original flight plan from the ship. Because they´d come from a different place, the likelihood is that they would have completely different technology - something to let the mod makers something to let their creativity loose on &quot;A good pun is its own reword&quot;
