nah its not because we´re not interested...its because we have seen 100+ of these threads before and get tired of repeating ourselves. I´m a musician too, as are at least 10 others here at TLR...I´ll keep my eye on this thread and chip in if anything interests me...

im´ just saying, for all of us who play guitar, what kind of guitars do you have? heres some pictures of my guitars my bass: <img src=´http://www.virginstudent.com/f…346/688/674/bass_body.JPG ´> its a fender "Lyte Deluxe" bass...they don´t make them anymore my Charvel (Affectionatly known as "Harv"<img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> <img src=´http://www.virginstudent.com/f…521/126/116/harv_full.JPG ´> another shot of my bass, with my Squier Strat: <img src=´http://www.virginstudent.com/f…5/517/145/squier_bass.JPG ´> a close up of my strat, with the new pickups (Hotrails = sooooooooo good) <img src=´http://www.virginstudent.com/f…9/940/491/squier_body.JPG ´> Kyp The other day, in study hall, i farted really loud, you know...so the guys would laugh...and i swear it was so hanus that Susie Johnson almost ralphed up her salsbury steak. it was freakin sweet...

i might do a cardimine and request a sticky. but the mods dont need to listen to me. Kyp: those are some sick guitars man. id just do something about the rainbow strap on the bass... since i dont have a digital camera, i cant photograph mine. but i got a Samic electric (first electric) Odessa Electricacoustic, an Essex Bass, and an old nylon acoustic which is older than i am. so its not as impressive as your collection. anyways: check out static X´s album Shadow Zone. some good stuff there. (especially invincible, one great song.) Viator ------- i used to be a guy called jake_langley

I know it sounds really nerdy but I used to play in an orchestra in the brass section. And I was learning how to play the piano for a while.
-
i used to play piano, but i switched cos i realised the guitarists get more chicks. ------- i used to be a guy called jake_langley

I´ve always been an Ibanez man myself, got an old dog Ibanez that I decked out with two EMG humbuckers (rarely get played these days) but my main geetar is an Ibanez Satriani Signature series. What I´d really love to get though is an SRV signature Strat. Unfortunately they´re way to expensive for the amount I play these days, but they do play and sound so lovely. I´ve played thousands of different guitars but the only one that´s ever really felt perfect is the SRV. My Satch Ibanez isn´t bad, but it´s just not the same.

I play the Glock, i´m pretty good at it Just sat my exam.

Tried to learn to play the Guitar, but my fingers don´t bend right, no matter how I stretch them, to get F chord. Had to settle for a keyboard. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Michael<A href=´http://messianicgentile.tripod.com/´ Target=_Blank> "Finalday"</a> <i> In Memory Of WLB </i>

i was gifted with freakishly long fingers.

i got an acoustic that translates to what.. 50USD over there? anyways, i play acoustic. nylon. i pulled titanic´s theme off the net, gunna try it out soon. i´m a beginner basically. got about 5month´s learning down. i can play.. romance de amor, andante Op241, No,18(F.carulli), Allegretto op.241 no.18, and this other chinese piece, and thats about it. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> as for listening, i wrote in quite a few midi´s into the comp, along with other classicals like pach´s canon in Dmajor(guitar), and an assload of other classicals. they are pretty much the only stuff i listen to.

Mustang!!! if you ever want to get rid of that JS Sig, lemme know!!! :p imo, thats the nicest guitar Ibanez makes... i´ve considered buying an Ibanez RG or even a cheap JEM, but my next buy will probably be a 5-String bass i forgot to mention before, that i also have an Ibanez 7 string that looks somethign like this: <img src=´http://www.ibanez.co.jp/world/products/eg/pict/AX7221GP.jpg ´> but the pickups sound like total ass, so i don´t play it much... once i have some cash i´ll replace them with something better, but until then its collecting dust Finaldy: Keep practicing. you´ll eventually get your fingers to loosen up and do what you want <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Kimk, any chance you could send me a couple of those midi´s? i´d love to learn more classical but i can never find any good tabs anywhere

most of the time i dont listen to classical guitar, usually opting for some static X or Element Eighty. BUT - i have found that classical gas by mason williams has got to be one of my favorites to play. ------- i used to be a guy called jake_langley

Classical Gas is a kick ass tune, i´ve always been meaning to teach myself that one. Oh and I won´t be getting rid of my Satch kyp, it´s still beautiful to play. Edited by - Mustang on 3/24/2004 2:45:18 AM

dang....oh well. i have a feeling i´ll get one some day... Kyp The other day, in study hall, i farted really loud, you know...so the guys would laugh...and i swear it was so hanus that Susie Johnson almost ralphed up her salsbury steak. it was freakin sweet...

Well, only just found this. my axe is a good ol fashioned Epiphone Les Paul. Actually i didn´t buy it cause i am a G´n´R fan, or Led Zep fan, its cause its actaully a real nice guitar. Its got solid design, the pickups give a great tone, and it is incredibly responsive/easy to play. However, the letdown is the AMP, as i didn´t know much about them at the time. I have a Kustom Amp, which although okay, doesn´t sound that great. However its loud!! I don´t mean in the fact that turning it up to 11 loud....but that its got a short somewhere (yet to bother fixing it). If i turn the volume knob, it "shorts" across to max almost. Its deafening. It takes about 2 mins of fiddling to get an audiable level that doesn´t deafen.........
-
i was once going to buy an Epi LesPaul, it had a wicked sunburst finish, and it was a "Custom" so it had the nice block inlays and everything but then my brother´s friend bought it before i could raise the money kinda worked out for the best though, cuz then i bought my bass instead, which has served me well now for about 3 years Kyp The other day, in study hall, i farted really loud, you know...so the guys would laugh...and i swear it was so hanus that Susie Johnson almost ralphed up her salsbury steak. it was freakin sweet...
-
I got my little Samick Strat a while ago, and its served me well, so i have had no need to lash out and spend on a fancy guitar. Except for my odessa. Viator ------- i used to be a guy called jake_langley

ah man, i will never be satisfied. i already have 4 guitars, i´ve got half the parts for another one i´m putting together, and i´ve got a few ideas for the next ones i´m going to buy...i could <b>never </b> have too many guitars! Kyp The other day, in study hall, i farted really loud, you know...so the guys would laugh...and i swear it was so hanus that Susie Johnson almost ralphed up her salsbury steak. it was freakin sweet...
